Doppio plopped on the couch with her octopus plushie, and turned on her favorite show. She watched it until there was a knock at the door.
"Coming!" She ran to the door to open it.
"Ris!" Doppio's eyes lit up when she saw her childhood friend.
"Hey Dop." Risotto hugged Doppio.
"It's been so long Ris! Why haven't you visited more often?" Doppio hugged her back.
"You know how Dia is, she doesn't particularly like having company."
"You're right. It's so good to see you again though! Are you gonna be staying a while?" Doppio's eyes sparkled at Risotto.
"Only if I'm not intruding, I don't wanna be a bother." Risotto scratched her neck gently.
"Oh you're not a bother! Dia is upstairs anyways so she won't even know!" Doppio smiled.
"Okay then. Oh, this is for you. I heard you got a job recently and I wanted to congratulate you." Risotto went in her bag and brought out a bag of sweets, and one of Doppio's favorite drinks.
"I got some stuff for Dia too, but I don't really know what she likes."
"Thank you so much Ris! I can help you with gifts for Dia next time if you want. I know all of her favorites! She can't get anything past me." Doppio took the gifts happily and let Risotto inside.
"I'd like that, it'd be pretty fun anyways. It would be like when we were younger." Risotto took a seat on the couch, next to Doppio.
"So what did you get for Dia?"
"Oh I got this thing." Risotto took out a bracelet with an emerald charm on it.
"That's really pretty!" Doppio looked at it in awe.
"Do you think she'll like it?" Risotto looked at Doppio desperately.
"Yeah of course! She loves stuff like this, plus the green will compliment her eyes when she wears it!" Doppio smiled brightly. Risotto smiled a bit in response to Doppio's encouragement.
"That's good." Risotto looked up at the television. "What are you watching there?"
"Oh I'm watching Alice in Borderland, have you seen it?" Doppio gestured to the tv.
"I have not watched it. Is it good?" Risotto looked back at Doppio.
"Yes it's good! We have to watch it together right now." Doppio turns on the first episode before Risotto can protest.
They spent hours watching it together, both commenting on scenes and talking about how dumb people were.
Diavolo walked downstairs to make herself a cup of coffee.
"Hey Doppi."
"Hey Dia! Oh can you make us some tea?"
"Sure- wait us?" Diavolo took the time to notice Risotto.
"Dop what did I say about inviting people without permission?" Diavolo sighed.
"I know I know but Ris hasn't seen Alice in Borderland!" Doppio gives Diavolo puppy eyes.
"Alright fine. Just don't get into trouble."
Risotto watched Diavolo make the tea for a while until Doppio poked her arm with a smug grin. Risotto looked back at Doppio. Doppio looked at Diavolo, then back at Risotto.
"Oh stop it Dop." Risotto looked to the side for a moment in embarrassment. Doppio snickered and returned to watch the show.
Diavolo walked over with two cups of tea after a while and handed them out.
"Hey Dia, Ris has something to give you!" Doppio smiled as she drank some tea.
"What is it?" Diavolo looked at Risotto.
Risotto looked at Doppio with an 'are you serious' look, earning another smug grin back. She then looked back at Diavolo.
"Uh I wanted to give you this- I hope you'll like it." Risotto handed the bracelet to Diavolo, trying to hide her embarrassment.
"Oh, thanks." Diavolo took it, slipped it on, and went back to the kitchen to make her coffee.
Risotto almost died right then and there because Diavolo touched her hand. Doppio noticed Risotto's red face and broke into laughter.
"Hey- don't make fun of me!" Risotto became even more red.
"How can I not when you look like a human tomato!" Doppio laughed even harder. Doppio then put a hand to Risotto's ear, and whispered something that made Risotto cover her face with her hands. It made Doppio laugh even harder.
"Don't make me imagine things!" Risotto was having a full on homosexual panic now. Doppio finally finished dying from laughter and pat Risotto on the back. Diavolo had already gone back upstairs a few minutes prior.
"I feel bad now." Doppio said with a frown.
"Why is that?" Risotto looked at Doppio.
"It's cause I don't think Dia is into having relationships. I don't wanna get your hopes up just for you to be let down too.." Doppio hugs Risotto in sympathy.
"Eh, even if she isn't, it would be okay. I can always admire her from a distance." Risotto returned the hug.
"That makes you sound like a stalker Ris." Doppio snickered.
"Oh god does it? I didn't mean it like that-"
Doppio broke out into more laughter, this time Risotto joined in.
They ended up binging the entirety of the tv show afterwards.
