Preparation

~ I've been dead for a while but wooo new chapter! ~

Doppio was getting her bag ready, while Diavolo was in the kitchen preparing meals for the day. They were planning on going to the beach today, so that Diavolo could meet Doppio's new friends. She didn't particularly like the idea, but Doppio convinced her to come along. She put her newly bought sunscreen into her bag, then laughed because she remembered she had to put it on. Doppio walked into the kitchen where Diavolo was and tapped her shoulder.
"Dia it's sunscreen time! I'm not letting you stay under the umbrella the whole time again so you're putting some on as well." Doppio smiled brightly, opening the bottle of sunscreen.
"You'd better not miss any spots then, Doppi. I don't want a repeat of last time." Diavolo turned to look at Doppio with a smug look.
"Hey that's in the past! Besides, it's your fault for falling asleep on the sand!" Doppio puffed out her cheeks, crossing her arms.
"Alright alright. Here, let me help you with yours." Diavolo gestured for Doppio to turn around while grabbing the bottle from her hands.
"Thanks Dia. I'll help you with yours afterwards as well." Doppio turned and let Diavolo put the sunscreen on her.
"Stop moving so much Doppi."
"But it's colddd!" Doppio kept tensing up at the feeling. Diavolo sighed, then laughed.
"You're such a baby you know?" Diavolo handed the bottle back to Doppio. She took it and grumbled, putting sunscreen on the rest of her body.
" You act like a mom Dia!"
"Well someone has to keep you in line, wouldn't you agree? I am the only one that is truly able to take on such a task." Diavolo smiled then turned to put the food in containers.
"Alright old lady." Doppio mumbled, putting sunscreen on Diavolo when she didn't expect it. Diavolo squeaked when she felt the cold of it, making Doppio laugh in return.
"Oh hush!" Diavolo took the sunscreen away from Doppio, planning on doing the rest herself.
"It's gonna be a fun day don't you think? I can't wait for you meet everyone Dia." Doppio went back to her room and grabbed her bag. Diavolo thought about it for a moment. Doppio came back with a big smile on her face.
"I hope we'll be able to get along. You seem very fond of them." Diavolo put the containers in Doppio's bag.
"Yeah they're great! Who's gonna drive?" Doppio grabbed the keys and dangled them in front of Diavolo.
"Me, of course. You're still a kid." Diavolo snatched the keys and grabbed her umbrella.
"Vacation time!"
"It's not vacation, it's just for the day."
"Day vacation!"
