"Yall ready?" Angel ask.

We were all silent but still responded. We were all trying to wrap our minds about what going to happen. To be honest, I didn't think everything was going to happen like this. From finding out the truth about my family to Marilyn's kidnapping.

I was just hoping and praying that no harm was done to her. From the corner of my eye I can see Genesis, she had a scared, nervous and angry expression on her face and I couldn't be mad at her for that.

If anything there was too many emotions to feel and I probably couldn't understand how Genesis is probably feeling right now. To make matters worse there was a possibility that when we walk into the hospital they won't be telling us good news.

We walked inside the hospital and was met by the whole entire family. I can't believe this was happening right here, right now and on Ariel's and I birthday. Aunt Cali was the only one sitting down. She had her head in her hands, and for the first time ever she looked as if she was crying.

Uncle Rich try to hold her hand but she pulled away from him. Uncle Rich sighed and stood up walking over towards GMama who was holding Emery. They spoke for a bit before heading towards all of us. We all stood in a group in silence. It was just Ariel, Genesis, Tiffany, Kendra, Angela, X, Daniel, Lion, Kaiden, Badass and I.
This moment we were bracing ourselves for.

"The doctors haven't came out and told us anything yet." Uncle Rich spoke first.

All of a sudden, you can hear Genesis starting to weep. She continue to wipe her tears away but fresh hot tears just continued to stream down her face. Her eyes were bloodshot red, and you can tell that she was trying we best to hold back the tears.

Nobody could understand how she felt. Marilyn was her baby sister and the only person she had left from her parents. Not even me can understand how she felt.

"I didn't protect her!" Genesis kept mumbling through her tears. "I didn't protect her!"

Kaiden did his best to comfort her but I don't think there was anything that he could do but just be there for her.

"How is she?" I quickly turn around to see my mom standing there. Everyone starred at her, I guess it's been awhile since everyone last saw her. Instead of a smart reply Uncle Rich, simply just said what was the truth.
