16. Arranging House

           It was Friday morning, Rutuja was making breakfast when Rishikesh came into the kitchen. She finished with preparation and filled their plates with breakfast. Then went and sat together for breakfast. When they were finished eating and cleaning she asked him if they could go shopping today and buy a few necessary things for the house as well as ourselves. He said that would be fine, we should go after lunch. She said that's fine by me.

They still had quite a time in their hands before lunch and they decided to email their marriage certificate to their boss and add it to their document list. When she was done with that she went to the kitchen for preparing lunch. When they were done eating, they went and got ready to go shopping. Met in the living room and locked the door before leaving. They got in the car and he drove them to the shopping mall.

They parked the car and got in. They both choose things for changing the look of the house a bit. He wanted to add things that Rutuja would like to have at the house. After that was done they went grocery shopping. When it was done they both decided to put the things in the car's trunk. Rishikesh said Rutuja, let's do some cloth shopping too as we will need some clothes for upcoming parties. Rutuja said, sure let's go.

While they were going Rutuja smiled at Rishikesh excitedly and whispered we didn't get to shop for our marriage but, this is best. We can choose whatever we want now. He just laughed at that and they started their shopping picking party wear as well as traditional dresses. When they were done they went home. It was just 3 pm when they reached so, they decided to get fresh and take a coffee break.

Rutuja went and made them coffee. They sat down sipping the coffee slowly enjoying it. After they were done they started to set the house starting with the kitchen first as it would take the most time. First, they filled in groceries and arranged them in order. The other things like plates, bowls, spoons, and other kitchen equipment. Once they were done with the kitchen they started with the living room arranging flower pots and other things to make it look more beautiful.

Lastly, they arranged the bedrooms and when they were done with the whole house it was almost 7 pm. Rutuja prepared dinner for both of them and they both eat together delighted by the new feel of the house. While they were eating he asked Rutuja, "Should we do dress trials after this?" She chirped excitedly saying "yes". She finished dinner and cleaned fast because of that.

They bought their shopping bags to the living room and took out the clothes from the bags. Their shopping included two traditional dresses and four western dresses. Both sat down together and tried to match each outfit. To their surprise, they were having all the pairs matching each other by one or the other thing. Rutuja said let's go and try each pair of clothes then show each other.

He said, let's do it. Both went to their rooms to get dressed then came back out for showing the outfits. All the outfits were elegant and fitted them perfectly as if they were simply made for that person. Rutuja was enjoying the dressing-up game beaming with happiness. He was happy to see her like that. After they changed back to their nightclothes they decided when they will wear what type of dress and arranged the clothes accordingly in the closet.

Then Rishikesh went to sleep. Rutuja went back to her room but somehow she was feeling very restless and kept pacing the room as she knew they were being followed. She knew that they might be somewhere near the housekeeping watch on them. She wanted to tell this to Harshada so she called her and told her how they were followed today. She also told her that she haven't told Rishikesh about it.

Harshada said Rutuja you should believe in yourself to save him. She listened to her friend and tried to think she can save him from keeping her phone aside. That calmed her a bit but, she still kept pacing the house. They were beside their house she could sense them and knew they would attack soon. She was preparing herself to face any situation.
