THE BLOOMING OF LOVE BETWEEN FORCED MARRIAGE

22. First Date, First Attack.

            It was Sunday and both had decided to do the house chores together. First, they finished cleaning the house and took a bath. They both decided that Rishikesh will make breakfast for a change. He made breakfast and Rutuja loved to eat it. They sat down together after they finished breakfast. Rishikesh asked, "Why didn't you go to the office today?" Rutuja said, "I wanted to go but, all of them told me I will need to rest the day after the party so they won't allow me at the lab today. And also I was finished with my work on Sunday on Friday so I thought about staying at home.

Rishikesh said, "You are a workaholic girl you finished two days' work ahead of time". She just said, "I thought I could be free later". She said we better get started with the preparations for lunch. He said, "Ok let's do it". They both went to the kitchen and started to prepare lunch. They enjoyed cooking lunch together then had it together.

After they were done with the cleaning they sat together on the couch talking with each other. Then decided to watch a mystery movie. Rutuja was sitting beside him while watching the movie. She was thinking how much her life had changed since she married. But, she was glad that she married Rishikesh as she wouldn't find a person who would accept what she was doing.

She wanted to tell him about the organizations and attacking but she didn't. Rishikesh could tell that she was sad about something but, didn't know the reason. Sometimes she just had the urge to let go and cry but, she had to be strong to save Rishikesh and others. They finished watching the movie and Rutuja asked Rishikesh, "Would you like hot chocolate instead of a coffee?' He said, "Yes". She got up and made two cups of hot chocolate for them.

She bought the hot chocolate and they both silently sip it enjoying its bittersweet taste. She thought it was just exactly like my life bitter as well as sweet. Rishikesh wanted to take her out somewhere so, he decided to ask her. He said, "Rutuja would you like to go on a date with me tonight?" She was not expecting these words and was surprised by them but, said yes to go.

She asked him, "What colour should we wear today?" He said, "How about wearing violet colour today?" She said, "It's fine with me as I love that colour". He said, "Then violet it is". She said, "Yes, I am going to your room as I need a few things more to get ready". She went to his room to find her jewellery box she found it and checked the sensors. They were working smoothly and she went back to her room.

She got ready and went to the living room. Rishikesh was ready to escort her to the venue. Rutuja asked him, "Can we dance together before going?" He said, "Yes we can". She put on a song and they got in position to dance. They danced together for a while matching each other's pace and steps. When they finished dancing she said, "You are good at dancing Rishikesh". He said, "Not as graceful as you are".

He asked her, "Should we go now?" She said, "Sure let's go". They got into his car and drove to the destination of their date. He had taken her to a hotel for their date. They ordered their favourite food and started eating their dinner. The atmosphere of the hotel was good accompanied by the soft music in the background. They enjoyed their food listening to the silent music. When they were done Rishikesh called the waiter asking him to bring the bill.

Bill was bought to the table Rishikesh paid the bill and got up to go. Rutuja got up too they went to the parking area to get their car at the back of the hotel. The parking area was silent but, Rutuja had noticed that someone had followed them to parking. As they neared the car she saw the attacker pointing a dart at Rishikesh.

The attacker had thrown the dart in the air as it was about to touch Rishikesh, she pretended to lose her footing so Rishikesh could move aside by that, she had gotten hurt on her shoulder by the time she turned. He had caught Rutuja before she fell and helped her to be steady on her feet. When she was standing properly again he let go of her. They were right in front of their car he went and started the car. Rutuja took out the dart from her shoulder with her handkerchief and got inside the car.

They were on their way back home now. He thought that Rutuja wouldn't pretend to trip unnecessarily there might have been some other reason. She was thinking about how he had almost got aimed at by the attacker. If she wasn't there he could have gotten hurt. She was good with the fact that he wasn't hurt. Despite they had attacked them today they were still following them to the house.

They reached the house and Rutuja said, "Thank you for the wonderful first date Rishikesh". He was happy to hear that. They got inside the house and went to their rooms so they could change clothes and get fresh. Rutuja checked the dart after she finished changing. The dart contained some kind of sleeping medicine. She thought I am gone now as she had been feeling dizzy and drowsy because of the dart.

She hated the dart for a moment as she was sleepy and she had no time to sleep or they would be attacking him. She was going to resist the dart. She told Harshada what had happened. She said, "Oh no! You got hurt with that sleeping dart". She told Harshada what was happening with her and said, "I will have to resist it till I reach lab". Please inform Rishika about it. Harshada said, "I will inform her you take care of yourself bye Rutuja". She said, bye to Harshada before ending the call. She went to his room to check on him and then went back to keeping watch over the house.
