THE BLOOMING OF LOVE BETWEEN FORCED MARRIAGE

19. Back to Work

            Rutuja was awake and it was almost 3:30 am she decided to do the cleaning of the house first. She cleaned all the rooms and then did her daily training when she was done with that she went and took a bath. She prepared breakfast first and setting it aside she decided to prepare lunch for both of them. She was packing the lunch boxes when Rishikesh came into the kitchen for eating breakfast. She finished packing and sat down for eating breakfast.

When they were done with breakfast she gave him his lunch box and he went to his room to get ready. When Rutuja finished chores in the kitchen she went and got ready too. They met in the living room and Rishikesh handed her the spare house keys. He knew that she wouldn't be back before 9 pm.

They got out of the house together at 7:30 am as they had to reach the office before 8:30 am. Rishikesh took his car while Rutuja was going on her Activa as she haven't bought her car there. They said bye to each other before parting ways for office. Rutuja was at her office before the time she met the "Head of her Department" and told him to change her status in the office data from "Unmarried" to "Married" as she had requested in the official email.

She then went to her desk and took a look at the things she had to work on. When she was about to start her colleague came to her and asked her Rutuja, "When did you get married?" She told her that, she got married two weeks ago. She asked her "Why didn't you tell us that you were going to get married. Rutuja told her colleague that, she didn't know herself, she was going home to get married and found out about it when she was at her parent's house. "You didn't know about your marriage?" She asked Rutuja getting surprised. Rutuja told her "No I didn't know about it".

The girl went back to her desk and Rutuja was able to focus on the work at hand. She analyzed all the data since had taken leave and took note of changes that happened in their software project. She was studying all the drafts which were on a waiting list and replying to the necessary emails of work. Soon it was time for their lunch break.

Rutuja took her lunch box and went to the lunchroom and sat down for eating finding an empty table. While she was eating she saw her colleagues coming toward her and thought "What do they want from me?" They came near her and congratulate her as she was married now. Rutuja says "Thank You" to all of them. Another colleague in her department asks Rutuja, "When are you going to give us a party and introduce your husband to us?" Rutuja said, "Don't worry Prachi there will be a party soon and I will introduce my husband to you all".

While Rishikesh was working his colleagues also congratulate him and ask for the party. He said, "There will be a party for you soon enough". She went back to her work after lunch. She was trying to finish all the things that were pending since she was on her leave. She almost finished all her pending work in a day and would be starting with the current project the next day.

The office was over at 6 pm and Rutuja went to the "Head Research Lab" as she was called to give instructions about something. She went to the lab and she was told that "They were appointing two doctors to her department to maintain their health records". They also told her that the doctors will be coming to the lab today by 8 pm. She agreed to what they had to say and was on her way to their lab.
