"I should be getting used to you showing up like that out of nowhere," Sakura said, sitting on a chair in the garden while doing her work, when she saw Sasuke walking towards her with a sideways smile that made him look even more handsome in the sun. . - What are you doing here?

"I didn't have anything to do, so I came to see if I could stick around for a while. Can I sit there?

Sakura stared into Sasuke's dark eyes for some time before sighing.

"Look, Sasuke, I don't know what you're planning, but I think you better stop, okay?

He frowned.

"I just thought I'd watch some movies with you if that's okay, then we can have a pizza and I'll go home. Got a problem with that?

That was still very strange under Sakura's perception.

It wasn't Sasuke's custom to simply want to sit still for two or three hours, watching a movie. But, as she was surprised by the fear in the boy's black eyes, she simply sighed.

"You know you always get what you want from me when you make that face. Sakura smirked. "Come on, sit there, but I have to finish this here.

He smiled.

"Alright, I'll just stay here, quiet."

With her promise, she pretended that there was nothing wrong with the way he placed her feet on his thighs and continued looking through the spreadsheet and reading what was new in the case her father had asked her to check out. .

He was in the midst of an astronomical heist on an almost Rockefeller account, but there was something he couldn't ignore. Sasuke was restless, adjusting himself in his chair, rubbing his foot and then moving again and all that movement was agonizing her. It was after ten minutes of trying with all his might to continue his work that he realized that it would all be in vain, Sasuke would always get his attention more than that case.

Then, seeing no other way out, Sakura turned off her tablet, crossed her arms and stared at Sasuke's face as he stared at the floor, looking so focused that it took her by surprise when she lifted her eyes from there and stared into hers. And that's when she knew a bigger problem, a problem he was tasting in his mind and didn't want to tell her.

"Come on, Sasuke, let go of what happened."

- Your job...

"He can wait." It was clear Sasuke didn't like it, but she ignored it. "Are you going to tell me or are we going to pretend you didn't come here for this?"

Sasuke was silent for many seconds staring into her eyes, until he sighed. He wasn't going to be able to fight her resistance. He dealt with people like that every day.

"You're not going to like this at all..." he warned.

"We'll see.

Sasuke drew in a deep breath, his jaw tense.

"I came here to say goodbye.

Of the many things he could have said, Sakura had never thought of anything like that. She had to think and rethink it before dropping one:

- How it is?

It's not that she never expected this, but Sasuke, Naruto and she had grown up together in that city.

He ran a hand over his face, clearly nervous.

"I didn't mean it right now, damn it. I just wanted to come here and enjoy the day.

"It doesn't matter, where are you going?"

Now, Sasuke hid his eyes. And Sakura knew he was struggling internally to keep his face as impassive as she was at that moment.
