Impossible (Arienai)

tr; impossible in Japanese. is often used just as an expression, slang.

Eight months later.

It was weird. Really strange the smell Hinata felt reaching her nose.

burned.

Fire.

Something that was not pleasant at all.

Her eyes popped open at the same time as she saw that it only increased and, without thinking too much, her hands tugged at the blouse she had thrown on the bed as she struggled with the covers to get up.

Within seconds, she was wearing one of Naruto's many blouses, a little distressed to be naked underneath. Her feet, used to that house, didn't even stop as they took her to the nearest exit, with her heart racing for the simple fact of wishing Naruto were home, she didn't know if there was just her.

When she got close to the kitchen, she had no more doubts: the house really was on fire. The concentrated smoke prevented her from seeing a little of things and her lungs were the first to notice it, forcing her to cough.

— NARUTO! she yelled, walking to somewhere with less smoke.

How the hell had that happened? It was absurd, they never made any of the burners easy to open or anything like that.

She coughed once more.

That's when he heard a laugh—not just any laugh, really—and at the same time a gust of air pulled all the smoke through the huge kitchen window.

And she didn't know what to expect.

I mean, I thought there was fire climbing the walls or something, but I sure as hell never thought it was Naruto.

In front of the stove, the blonde - who was with his hair cut short and trimmed - smiled at her, wearing only an apron and a pair of shorts. A black and burnt pan in his hand showed what had generated all that smoke.

"Er..." Naruto scratched the back of his head. "...I think the pancakes will be for another day, love.

Seeing that guilty smile for having scared her and burned the food, Hinata couldn't control herself and burst out laughing. She laughed, laughed a lot, until her stomach hurt and she saw Naruto pouting as she pulled her body into his strong arms.

"Okay, okay, enough laughing at my cooking skills.

Hinata tried to hold back a laugh as she looked at Naruto's amazing blue eyes and beautiful face, but she must have made a very comical face, because he ended up laughing too.

"I suck in the kitchen, huh?

Wrapping her arms around his neck, Hinata nodded before placing a kiss on his male lips.

"It's already what... The third time you burn our food?"

"Hey, the other times were by accident.

"And what did you try to do on that one?"

— Flambar.

Hinata threw her head back as she laughed.

"Okay, love, no cooking for you, okay?

— Gosh, I'm good at making ramen.

"I know," and she kissed him for seconds later holding him by the apron, her cheeks flushing, that old act of hers. "Damn, you look pretty even like this."
