***************Chris POV***************

I walked into the gym, late at night to talk to Alec. I found him at the counter with Nat's sister Hailey leaning over, obviously flirting with each other. I smirked as Alec noticed me, looking up as he stood up straight. "Hey guys." I smiled at Hailey as she stood up and turned around to look at me, "Hailey. Nice to see you again."

She smiled, holding her hand out to me, "hey! Same! Nice to see you officially at Nat's boyfriend." She winked at me before she looked back at Alec, "I'll see you later."

I chuckled looking back at Alec as Hailey left the gym.

Alec groaned, "please don't say anything to Nat. We're sort of just seeing where it goes."

I shrugged, "not my business. As long as you tell her eventually."

Alec nodded, "yeah, of course I will. So what's up? I thought you weren't supposed to be back for a few more days? Nat isn't working tonight, she's at home with Kahlan."

"I know. I'm going to go see her after I leave here. I wanted to talk to you actually. About mine and Kahlan's birthday next weekend? I don't want anyone to feel like I'm overstepping. But Nat and I are serious and I care about her and Kahlan."

Alec smiled, "I know that. What's up?"

I shrugged, "well I had some ideas I wanted to talk to you about." I pulled out my phone, handing it to him for him to look at my ideas.

***************Normal POV***************

I turned off the water of the bathtub, about to drop my robe and step in when I hear something in the living room downstairs. I sighed, "Kahlan?" I didn't hear a response as I tied my robe tighter. I went into the hallway, peeking into Kahlan's room to find her fast asleep. I closed the door quietly, standing at the top of the stairs, not hearing anything as I started to descend down them. I heard a knock in the living room. "Hello?" As I reached the bottom of the stairs, I felt someone grip my arm, pulling me to them as they wrapped their arm around me from behind, covering my mouth. I struggled against them, trying to pull away when I heard him laugh, calming me down. I let him lead me to the kitchen as I stopped struggling against him.

Chris kept one hand over my mouth as he undid my robe from behind, letting it fall to the floor. He leaned down to my ear, "if I let go, are you going to scream?"

I giggled, shaking my head. I felt him kiss my neck as he released my mouth, grabbing my hands. He placed my palms face down on the counter as he kicked my feet apart. "What are you doing here?"

Chris leaned down to my ear once more as I heard him undo his pants, "shh."

I nodded as he positioned himself behind me, running his cock along my slit as I pushed back against him. I nodded, "upstairs. I was going to take a bath." I giggled as I heard him moan behind me, following me up the stairs. I slipped into the tub as he sat on the floor next to me. "How long are you home?"

"Well I'm off for a few months. Can we talk about Kahlan's birthday?"

I chuckled, nodding, "you mean the one she shares with you?"

"Exactly." He laughed, "I was thinking we could do it at my place? Together? You family and my family. I have a pool and we can do like a barbecue. Would that be okay?"

I groaned, "everything except for the your family and my family part."

He laughed, "come on. They would have to meet eventually. You don't think your parents will like me?"

"I don't actually know. They've kind of always tried to push me towards being with Alec. What about your family? You dating a woman with a teenage daughter?"

Chris sighed, "I don't know. But we'll do it together?"

I nodded, "okay. Together. Now get in here with me." I laughed as he stood up, undressing in front of me.
