As the footsteps grow louder, Moon and I turn around. We see Glamrock Freddy walking, then stopping the second he notices us standing there, watching him.
"Moon!" He says. "I-I did not know you were going to be here!"
"Just showin' the new night guard around. She wanted to meet you guys, so I brought her over here to say hi," Moon says, patting my head like I was a child. For some reason, I kinda liked it. His hands weren't too rough, but rather gentle and caring. It almost makes me wonder why the children are always so afraid of him.
Freddy walks up to me and holds out his hand. "My name is Freddy, and I'm one of the glamrock performers here." He says.
"I'm ___," I say as I take his hand, shaking it. "I'm the new security guard working morning and night shifts. I usually work in the daycare on both shifts."
"Oh, I heard Vanessa also is working the night shift. Well, how are you liking this place so far?" Freddy asks. This question is so basic, but I can tell he really is curious.
"I love the neon colors everywhere, and the aesthetic is really cool. The daycare is wonderful as well. This whole place is so cool. I wish this existed when I was younger."
"And what do you think of the Daycare attendant so far?" Freddy asks, looking at Moon.
"You know, He doesn't seem so bad once you hang with him for a night," I say. Moon looks down at me, and I look up at him, smiling.
Even in this short moment, I already know I'm going to love it here.
