Then it tilts it's head to the side. "You seem so nervous? why is that?" Then it straightens, like it has an idea. "I know how to fix it!" then it holds a fist out to me and opens it, revealing an orange wrapped candy with a yellow sun on the wrapping. "Have a Sunnydrop!" It says. before I could move it takes my hand and puts the candy in it, then it stands there with hands behind its back, waiting.
"Hey... I remember you!" It exclaims happily after letting go of my wrist. "You're Ivy, right?" I nod. "Gee, I don't think I told you my name yet, have I?" I shake my head. "Oh! I'm sorry! I must have forgotten! I'm Sun!" It says, holding out its hand. I grab it and we shake hands.
Sun laughs as I free from his grasp and quickly climb down from the structure. "Well, I should get back to work," I say, smiling. I walk back to the security desk and sit down in my spinny office chair. I love this chair.
"Something wrong?" The Moon asks in a scratchy voice. I stand there silently, staring at it for a few seconds. It dryly chuckles. "The Sun always shines for us during the day. The night is the time for the Moon to glow!" It says before floating off the ground by a cord tied to its back. It glides over to the children and gives them each a candy. It doesn't look like a Sunnydrop, but rather in blue wrapping instead.
The next time I open my eyes, the lights are on, and Sun is screaming, "RISE AND SHINE, FRIENDS!!!" I raise my head from the desk, and I see another Sunnydrop laying there. I gladly grab it and pop it in my mouth. I don't really like being tired. I look around, noticing some kids standing up right away, some kids barely able to wake up, and some still sleeping through Sun's shouts.
"You're here! You're here! You're here!" He happily shouts repeatedly. I smile and hug him back. He picks me up, which surprises me, and he brings me out of the ball pit. When he sets me down, I almost lose my balance, not used to the solid floor. I hold on to his arm for support as I gain my balance.
"I don't want to be alone here!" And that's when it gets me. Sun and Moon hate being alone. This game was a mistake, for when they made it they didn't think about the factor that I would be leaving them behind.
I hear the doorbell ring, breaking me from my memories. It must be Erika. I get off of the couch and I walk to the door, opening it. Sure enough, I was right.
"Hey, Ivy! I was afraid I got the wrong house," She says, smiling.
"Well you got lucky today. Come on in," I say, stepping aside as I hold the door open.
She steps in and looks around, observing everything, from the carpet to the hallway and furniture. I walk down through the hallway, and I motion her to follow. She notices and walks behind me.
I go to my hall closet and I grab my keys from my pocket and fumble for the closet key.
"You have a lock to your closet?" Erika asks as I find the key.
"I don't want anyone to take whats inside," I say, inserting the key into the door knob and turning the key, opening the small walk in closet.
When opening the door, I reveal to Erika what seems to be my whole past. To the left are shelves with pictures, pictures of me with Sun and the other animatronics from the Pizza Plex. There's a picture of me with one of each animatronic. Sun, Moon, Freddy, Chica, Monty, Roxy, DJ Music Man, and even some of the worker bots and the wet floor sign. There's multiples of me with Sun and Moon, as I had spent most of my time with them. Some of them are me in my Color outfit, some in my Night Guard outfit, and a few in my normal clothes.
Speaking of clothes, to the back of the closet hangs my Night Guard and Color outfits, as well as a couple of Superstar Daycare T-shirts. The shelf above them holds the Color helmet, as well as the Night Guard hat and a Glamrock Freddy hat.
To the right has shelves that contain bowls of candy. Sunnydrops, Moondrops, and Colordrops to be exact. One of the shelves holds my Security Guard badge as well as the security tablet, set on a stand and plugged into an outlet.
"What is all of this?" Erika asks, scanning the pictures, visibly noticing the ones with Sun.
"Those are from the Pizzaplex," I say.
"So that's where Sun is from," Erika asks, turning to me. I nod, Standing outside the door.
"All of this is from where Sun is from."
"What's this rainbow costume?" She asks, walking up to the Color uniform, touching the cloud-like cotton fringes.
"That's what I wore while being co-attendant."
"And the guard uniform?"
"I was a security guard beforehand."
"So, about Sun, I think I would be able to help, but, he's an animatronic that I'm unfamiliar with. How would I be able to fix him if I don't know how he's built?"
"I think I know!," I say. I grab the tablet, unplugging it and entering the password. I go to the database, scrolling through until it I find 'Daycare Attendant', clicking on it and seeing a model of Sun, with tabs on the side, featuring different parts, including a tab with all the coding and memory. I pass the tablet to Erika, and she looks through it.
"This isn't too difficult," She says, "But it's definitely more modern than when I fixed that wii 10 years ago."
"So, will you be here tomorrow to begin?" I ask.
"Yeah, uh, can I take this with me to study?" Erika asks, looking down to the tablet.
"Promise me you won't break it!" I say. She nods.
"Well, I should probably be getting home now," Erika says.
"Oh, okay. You sure you don't want anything?"
"I'm alright, I promise." Erika makes her way outside, getting in her car and pulling out of the driveway.
I walk inside the closet, my eyes scanning everything inside. I sut the door, turning on the light inside, immersing myself into the room.
I sit down on the soft carpet. It's been some time since I had visited this room. Today has been a long day, and all I can think of is what I'm going to dream about in the next few moments.
