“Lorien, please come out of there,” I could hear Uncle on the other side of the door, probably surrounded by the others.

I had locked myself in the guest bedroom for almost two days at that point and Takao had tried his best to coax me out, but there was no budging from me. I had turned off my phone because I didn’t want to chance it that the stalker might have gotten a hold of the number. Eventually he called Uncle and the others, which brought us to this situation.

“Just leave me alone ok?” I said, looking up at the ceiling.

“You can’t stay in there forever,” I heard Ren say in his quiet voice.

            “Who says?”

“I do,” I heard an overly familiar voice and I bolted upright.

I pulled the wheelchair over to me and wheeled over to the door as fast as I could, throwing it open, I saw Yamato standing in the doorway with his arms crossed. Throwing my arms around his waist, I hugged him as tightly as I could, breathing him in.

“Hey, hey, hey,” he laughed, bending down so he could hug me as well, “I’ve only been gone for a few days,”

I dug my fingers into his back, not allowing him to pull away. All this was too much to bear on my own, even though I had said I would be alright with the others, I needed Yamato by my side to make it through this.

“Why aren’t you in school?” I pulled away, looking at him.

“We had an off day today so I snuck over here to see you,” he smiled slightly, placing a hand on my cheek.

“Did you find out anything new about the guy who was watching you the other day?”

“How did you know about that?” his eyebrows scrunched together.

            “Kyo told me,”

The look on his face told me that he was going to have a few words with Kyo after he was finished visiting with me. Never the less, he sighed and pushed me into the living room where Uncle, Takao, and Ren were sitting.

“Unfortunately no,” he held my hand as he looked at the others, “I’ve been talking with Takuto and his police ties and so far we have nothing,”

I smiled internally. If he was talking with Takuto that meant that he had ruled him out of the list of suspects. Granted, that didn’t make up for the fact that we were still dealing with this asshole.

“I let them know that you were in hiding,” he continued, looking back at me, “but I also let them know that until I feel like it is safe to do so that I would not tell them exactly where you are hiding. They agreed with that, of course Takuto was upset, saying that as one of your friends he had a right to know, but then he realized that this was for the best,”

“Thank you for trusting him,” I smiled at him. The corners of his mouth twitched a bit, but he didn’t fully smile.

“How long do you think this will take?” Ren asked, asking the one question that was on everyone’s mind.

“It’s hard to say,” Uncle said glumly, “with his fascination with Lorien he more than likely won’t stop until he has her for himself. Since we don’t want that to happen the chances of this ending any time soon are slim to none,”
