'The Red War'

Life was never easy and Edd knew that, gun fire echoing in the distance as he sat up pushing some debree off him. Other members of his resistance group slowly stood attending to eachother, everyone needed eachother at the time as friends,family and members. "Are you all alright?" He asked turning his head to the side coughing from the dust around them.

The group nodded speaking some concerns as Edd began leading them back to a old Holtel where they hid away from the king and his violent ways. He sighed thinking of the male sitting above the rest laughing at the people as if they were ants beneath him. He hated it! Once friends torn apart by greed, wiping a tear from his eye Edd watched as portins of food and bandages were passed around through the group.

"Sir" He lifted his head looking up at a man making a small hum noise as a response. "We found someone outside, the man is wounded but we have him under watch and wrapped up" The man spoke leading Edd into a room. Cobwebs and old broken pieces of furniture laid scattered under their feet, Edd narrowed his eyes "Better not be a red army soldier" He scuffed before going silent. It had been so long...Laying on the bed was in fact a soldier of Red's army. "One of the troops caught him alone when a patrol was going by, he must have gotten seperated from the rest" One spoke as Edd examined the figure. A bullet taken to the side of his left arm and some bruises on his back possibly from fighting folks who tried to get away.

"Wait.." He stared "Mark?" He tilted his head at the blonde, the old book reading man seemed far gone with the new look showing. Why was he wearing the enemies uniform?.. "Where am I?.." The male on the bed grunted sitting up "You!" He turned to Edd and lundged quickly getting grabbed by two of the group members. "Relax Mark" Edd tried to get him relaxed, it took a while but he finally was settled yet he was shaking slightly as he watched the movements of every person nearby. Edd watched in concern, one nice person can be easilly destroyed "What happened? Why are you working for To-Red' He asked sitting acrossed from the blonde. "He said if I worked with him he would provide saftey and an allience between him, me and Eduardo..I was uneasy at the time seeing him after what happened to Jon and stuff.." Mark began, glancing to the side "He said he would provide freedom and pride if we sided with him and not the resistance, I was unsure while Eduardo got mad at him and left vowing he would have his head on a wall..."

"I havent seen him since" Mark shook his head "I dont even know if he still lives anymore..." Edd closed his eyes "I understand that, I havent seen the others since who knows how long" He hated bringing up Tom and Matt..Its been years since they were seperated from each other "Get some rest" Edd stood and walked out fixing his jacket with a sigh "This'll end one day.."
