After the whole encounter with 3/4 of F4, Haruka grabbed a quick lunch by herself. She had wanted to share the madeleines with Gorya, hopeful to put a smile on the girl's face as she was having a hard time putting up with the immature brat that was Thyme Akira. She was absentmindedly playing with the sharp edges of the pastry box as she walked back to her classroom. She heard laughter come from Gorya's class so she peered over at the window curiously. The sight before her angered her. Gorya's classmates were writing degrading words about her on the whiteboard.
Dry grass. Ugly. Slut. Rotten.
Overcome by anger, Haruka stomped her way in and pushed the students closest to her out of the way.
"You're loser? If you have this much time on your hands to write offensive statements and defamate your classmate then you have time to brush up on your english skills!!" said Haruka furiously towards the other students. She forcefully grabbed the eraser out of one of the boys' hands and started erasing the board. Gorya walked in the moment the eraser touched the board. Haruka froze. She hadn't wanted Gorya to see this, nobody deserved to be treated like that. Gorya looked over the board, reading every repulsive thing they had written about her.
"Gorya..." Haruka muttered softly. For a second, she was scared that Gorya would think that she was behind it, after all she was at crime scene. But Gorya nodded at her in acknowledgement and Haruka sighed in relief.
"Who wrote all this?" said the head of The Plastics wannabe trio.
"I feel bad for the person being bullied, but if she can't take it....." she pushed Gorya's chair down to the floor to reveal Just quit school scribbled on to the seat. Everybody laughed as if it was the funniest thing they had heard in their lives.
"Hey! Ar---" shouted Haruka but stopped herself from finishing the sentence when she saw the teacher enter the classroom. A quiet ambience took over the room.
"How can I teach with this writing on the board? Go and take a seat" said the teacher. Haruka glowered at the teacher's words. Useless, just like them.
"And you. Who are you?" the teacher turned towards Haruka questioning her presence.
"I'm from class 4" said Haruka confidently. Normally she would feel too timid to face someone heads on, but the teacher's uselessness irked Haruka to no end.
"Go to your class then" the teacher shooed Haruka away and grabbed the eraser she had dropped when Gorya entered the room. She hesitated for a bit looking at Gorya to make sure she was fine. Gorya nodded at her so Haruka left and went back to her own class, forgetting to give the madeleines to Gorya.
When her class ended, she rushed to Gorya's classroom to give her the box before she left school, but once again she was nowhere to be found. Haruka dragged her feet in disappointment as she exited the school's entrance. Not only had she forgotten to give the small cakes, she had also been planning on asking for the girl's phone number but things never seemed to go in her favour. Her phone vibrated in her pocket and she fished it out.
We can't pick you up today. Important meeting.
