The poor girl was in shock. Haruka offered to give Gorya and Kaning a ride home, but the girl was still frozen at what had happened. Kaning accepted the ride in her place, not before hesitating first but when Haruka offered to call a cab instead if they weren't comfortable, she accepted the offer. She droved the two home, Gorya lived the closest so they dropped her off first. While Kaning and Haruka were confined in the car, Kaning stared out the window occasionally stealing glances at her.

"Whatever you want to say, say it" said Haruka, noticing the obvious glances. Kaning adjusted her posture and turned towards her with determination in her eyes.

"What are your intentions with Gorya?" Kaning asked. She didn't want people like F4 in Gorya's life. Her best friend was already struggling so much with the red card she received from F4, she didn't need anymore inconveniences.

"You don't have to trust me, but Gorya needs someone by her side and I'd be happy to be that person" Haruka said honestly. She truly cared for Gorya. Haruka didn't like people easily, but Gorya was someone she saw herself being friends with for a long time. And if Kaning permit, hers as well. She understood Kaning's feelings. She was scared that Gorya would be taken advantaged of and then be left high and dry the moment they got tired of her. But Haruka wasn't like that. The rest of the car ride was spent in silence, but instead of the previous suffocating one it was calming this time around. After dropping off Kaning, Solo dropped Haruka off home before retiring for the night.

Haruka took off her sandals when she went inside the house, it was late and she didn't want her father to be disturbed by her return. She closed her bedroom door behind her and dropped her sandals by the door. She removed her makeup with the makeup wipes on her desk and fell flat on her bed face down.

What an eventful night.

The next day was a saturday and Haruka decided to do something she had been avoiding for years. She went into her office after eating her breakfast and pulled the wooden apparatus she kept insider her wide glass display cabinets. Her violin. She wiped off the thin layer of dust it had accumulated since the last time she had cleaned it with a microfibre cloth and layed it on the chaise longue in front of her. For some minutes, she just stared at the intrument before her eyes. The last time she had played was the week before Ayame died, after that she didn't feel like playing anymore. But lately her fingers had been tingling to pick up the bow and caress its strings once more. She picked up her Stradivarius and propped it on her shoulder, resting it over her collarbone and supporting the neck with her left hand. Haruka set her left hand in position and slowly lowered the bow over the strings. She stopped as the realization hit her. She had gone to sleep. The tone had died down, her playing wasn't as sharp or as bright as it used to be. She expected that things wouldn't be the same, but hadn't expected this outcome.

She would have to play the violin on a regular basis to improve on what she was missing. She made a mental note to add violin practice to her schedule. She kept playing until her hand started aching from the strenuous exercise. She looked at her desk clock and noticed that she had spent the whole afternoon playing, so she set the violin in its case and instead of putting it back in the cabinet she set it on the violin stand next to her desk.

She was curious to see how Gorya had been handling the situation, so she texted her while walking back to her bedroom.
