Why would she be making things harder for them? Haruka thought as she walked to school. She had texted Gorya asking about her strange mood the other day and the girl had confessed to her abou her decision to tip off Thyme's bodyguards on his whereabouts. She was stumped, why would she even do this to begin with? She was frustrated with Gorya as she was obviously trying to put a stop to things before they could get even more complicated, but that meant she was jeopardizing her and Thyme's relationship.

Now Glakao was gone too, and that brat hadn't even bothered to text her a heads up before leaving town. Gorya was alone. Her family had moved to the countryside leaving her to fend off by herself and Thyme was gone as she had pushed him away. Haruka frowned at the notion. What are you thinking of, Gorya? Why are you forcing him in to the arms of a woman he doesn't love?

However, the answer wasn't as intangible as she thought. Gorya didn't feel worthy of staying by Thyme's side. Lita was everything she was not, beautiful, rich and liked by his mother. She tried to understand Thyme's world, but she couldn't. she couldn't understand how their lives worked, it felt like they were speaking a foreign language whenever the topic of business was brought up. She felt a wall being driven between the two every time she had to face their difference in upbringing. The social latter between the two was too big for her to ignore. And Lita was perfect in that sense — they were similar too, they were both playful, caring and kid-like. And she was his fiancée, who had feelings for him. Gorya knew he could learn to fall in love with her and maybe that's what was best for him. Someone of his own caliber.

She plugged in her headphones, listening to random song on her playlist as she walked. She stopped briefly as she spotted a familiar face in a magazine stand, she grabbed the magazine off the shelf and read the jarring headline. Akira Paramaanantra and Lalita Empicca announce relationship via social media, #BillionaireCouple. She flickered through the pages, looking for the desired article.

Despite rumours of the couple getting engaged for business gains, it seems the couple's love is flourishing like a vermillion rose meeting spring for the first time. Recently, they both changed their social media status from single to in a relationship with each other. Have we come across a real life enemies-to-lovers story?

Well, that was unbearable to read. She thought as she closed the magazine and set it back in its place, only then had she noticed she had grabbed a tabloid. No wonder. Albeit that, she knew there was a source of truth in that article. She had seen with her own eyes Thyme's facebook status change and she nearly felt like throwing herself off a bridge. Putting it in the nicest way possible as they were her friends, they were both fools. Gorya was a fool for pushing him away because of her insecurities and Thyme was a fool for going along with her words and starting a relationship with someone he didn't love.

On one side, she felt bad for them. On the other side, she felt bad for Lita. Gorya had also told her about the girl showing up at her place to tell her Thyme had asked her to be his girlfriend. Haruka was confused at first, was she trying to rub it in Gorya's face? But Gorya clarified she, in fact, did not know of her and Thyme's feelings for one another and since she did not have any other friends to share her happiness with, she went to her for support. Haruka could sympathize with that. Lita most probably wouldn't have told her if she had know they had something going on, it was blatantly manipulative of someone to do so. And from what Gorya had told her, Lita was a kind person so she most likely wouldn't act that way.
