Jadan's P.O.V
The whole school was going to the hall because a new student was coming today. I walked with my friend Syrus. We sat down and waited. Chancellor Sheppard walked up to the middle of the duel arena and started to talk. I got boring so I fell asleep. After a while, I was woken up by a large roar. I golted up onto my seat and saw a huge duel monster with someone riding it.

I was amazed and saw the rider jump down and smiled. They took a bow and the monster did the same. "Everyone meet our new student, Y/n L/n!" I made eye contact with Y/n and blushed. Syrus had a smirk on his face.

Your P.O.V
I rode my D/m Duel monster and everyone cheered and clapped. I notice someone sleeping so I petted my monster and it roared, waking the Kuriboh hair guy up with a surprised look. I jumped down and took a bow. Everyone was still cheering. I made eye contact with the Kuriboh hair guy and smiled. "Y/n here will be in Sliffer red. Welcome to Duel Academy" Chancellor Sheppard said and gave me a red, short jacket.

A while later, I was walking tothe Sliffer dorms and noticed someone hurt. I ran over and knelt down. "You alright?" I asked him.

Jadan's P.O.V
I was sitting on the ground hurt because someone pushed me and ran off. "You alright?" I looked up to see Y/n, the new student. I blushed and nodded. "I doesn't look like you're okay" They say and helped me up. I yelped and was going to sit down but was stopped by Y/n. "Stay still." They say and they summoned a monster to help me. I sat on it and we walked to the dorms. "Thanks" I say and Y/n smiled. "No problem!" They say and we walked upto their room. I sat down on the bed and waited.

Y/n bandaged my leg and I sighed. "I'm Jadan Yuki, and duelin's my game!" I say with a smile. "I'm Y/n." They replied and smiled. After a while, we got really close like best friends. It's been a few months since Y/n came and we hung out most of the time. We never stopped dueling each other and never stopped talking about it either. I started to feel things like I fell in love with Y/n. One day, it was the end of year and Y/n was going home for the holidays.

We waited at the docks and Y/n was about to leave to go home. Y/n and I were the only ones at the docks and I helped Y/n pack up. "I'm going to miss you during the holidays.." I say with a small blush on my face. Y/n stood up and threw their bag onto their back. "Me too, Slacker." We laughed and smiled. We said goodbye but Y/n stopped. They turned around and ran up to me. Then kissed me like their was no tomorrow.

I kissed back and we pulled away. "Love you" They said. "Love you too, Y/n" I replied and smiled. "Now, go before your parents worry" I say. Y/n nodded and hopped onto their duel monster and went home. I waved goodbye and cheered. "Yess!" I say and looked at Y/n one final time before they weren't there. "See you next year, Duel rider"
