Shark's P.O.V
I walked through the school gates with a small smile on my face. When I got there, the bell rang, and every student was walking to class. I walked in and sat in my seat. When class started, I noticed my partner Y/n wasn't there. Normally, they would be here earlier than me. I continued on with my work. After I was done, I took out my phone and started to text Y/n.

Shark: Hey. Why aren't you at school?

Y/n: Hello and I am sick...caught a cold somehow.

I sighed quietly not to disturb the lesson. I was thinking that Yuma or one of his friends gave my darling the cold. I looked up to see the teacher marking papers. I looked back at my phone.

Shark: I'll be over later. But I'll need to go to the shops. Don't do anything I wouldn't do. And would you like some f/s?

Y/n: Yeah, yeah. I won't. See you later hun. And yes, please.

I smiled softly at Y/n's reply. I now didn't want to be here, in the classroom. Instead, I wanted to go look after my lover. Soon, the bell went, signaling everyone that it's time second class. I went through the day, but it went kinda slow for me. I just wanted to hang out with Y/n today, but thanks to them being sick. That plan yeeted itself out the window. After the final bell went, I walked out the gate but was stopped by Yuma and his group of friends. I was surprised that Y/n was friends with them, but once she told me everything about them, I didn't really mind them, but sometimes they will get on my nerves. I groaned just thinking about it..

"Hey Shark! Do you wanna duel?" Yuma asked with a huge grin in his happy face. Astral was floating above him with a calm look. I shook my head.

"Not now, Yuma. I need to go grocery shopping for Y/n and meet up with my partner at their place since they are sick." I replied.

"Y/n is sick! I guess she mush of caught the cold from one of the kids from the park the other day. We went to the park and a sick kid coughed on her." Yuma said. I shook my head with a sigh.

"Thanks, Yuma. But I need to get going. See ya." I said.

"Alright! See you, Shark!" Yuma said, and I walked off. After 5 or so minutes of walking, I entered the shops and grabbed some medicine, soup, and some f/s. I walked over to the checkout. The cashier looked at me, but I didn't care at this point. I paid for the things, saying nothing to the cashier and walked to Y/n's place. It took at least 10 minutes to get to Y/n's place. I arrived and opened the door with the spare key they gave me one time. I opened the door and walked inside.

"Y/n! I'm here!" I called out. I walked up to Y/n's room and saw them having a coughing fit. I placed the bag of things down and sat on the bed. I sighed, and they stopped.

"Oh hey Shark. I didn't hear you come in. Sorry, today has been a pain in a butt." Y/n said. I smiled.

"It's alright. Just rest. I'll go and make some soup and then we can watch a movie. How does that sound?" I said to them.

"That would be nice. Thank you." Y/n replied and rested their head on the pillows. After making Y/n soup, we decided to watch Beauty and the Beast. Y/n was hugging my waist while I had an arm wrapped around her. We both soon fell asleep before the movie ended.
