Chapter 5

Kiersten came over while I got ready for my date. I was excited, she seemed to be too.

"I can't fucking wait until you come home Alex I will be right here waiting for all the details." Kiersten said.

"Alexandria but of course." I said.

"You don't seem too excited what's happening?" She asked.

"Kiersten, you know I am like professional with everything, and I am not as hyper as you are." I said.

"Right well you look fucking gorgeous." She said.

"Thank you. I better go now, he just said he's at the restaurant." I said.

"Bye love you." She said.

"Love you too." I said.

I walked out the door and drove to the diner, it looked quite fancy.

"You look beautiful Alexandria." Johnny said, hugging me.

"Thank you, you are not so bad yourself Johnny." I said.

He smiled and we got to our table.

"So, how are you?" He asked.

"I am good now that I get to see you, what about you?" I asked.

"I'm great." He said, smiling.

Johnny had one of those smiles that you could never get over.

"What will you be ordering today?" The waiter asked.

"Could I please have the steak with no pink?" I asked.

"Yes, and for you sir?" He asked.

"I will have what she is having." Johnny said, smiling.

The waiter nodded and walked away.

"I am bummed I could not say thank you." I said.

"Alexandria it's okay, I'm sure you can say it when he hands us the food." Johnny said, laughing.

I smiled, I always said thank you to people.

A while after ordering the food finally came, I was indeed starving.

"Thank you." I said.

"You're welcome miss, enjoy." The waiter said.

"See? You got to say it." Johnny said.

"Yes. I feel good now." I said, smiling.

I ate my steak and it was very good. Something I would definitely eat again.

"Are you ready for the check?" The waiter asked.

"Yes, please." I said.

He handed us our check and I handed him my card, I insisted on paying.

"Have a great night sir." I said.

"Thank you." He said.

We walked out.

"So, would you like to come back to my place?" I asked.

"Sure." Johnny said.

We drove back to my place, and I unlocked the door, turning on the lights.

"I forgot how beautiful your house is." Johnny said.

"I guess we can say that." I said.

"So, Alex, why are you so uptight and professional about everything?" He asked.

"Oh, well, my parents have always taught me to be a good woman when I grow up." I said.

"They taught you well." He said.

"They did." I said.

"Alex, may I ask you something?" He asked.

"Well of course you can." I said, smiling.

"Would you by chance be my girlfriend? I really like you." He said.

I was very happy he said this. I liked him a lot too.

"Well, I really like you too Johnny. Of course I will be your girlfriend." I said, smiling.

"Great!" He said, hugging me.

We had hung out for a bit until it got late, so he left. I felt excited. I remembered Kiersten was here so I went upstairs to check up on her, she was listening to music.

"Hey Kiersten." I said as I took out one of her earbuds.

"Oh my god Alexandria tell me everything." Kiersten said in excitement.

"Well, dinner was very nice, and he asked me to be his girlfriend so I said yes." I said.

"Holy shit." She said, smiling.

"What? Is it bad?" I asked.

"No fuck no. He is perfect for you!" She said.

"I sure hope." I said.

"God damnit Alex why are you so uptight with your words?" She asked.

"I like to keep it professional." I said.

"Ugh. Weirdo. I still love you. Mind if I stay here tonight?" She asked.

"Sure, I do not mind." I said.

She nodded as I went to the bathroom to take my makeup off, I also changed into some comfortable clothes. Kiersten fell asleep on my bed, so I decided to go to the guest room. I was surprised that it kind of smelt like Johnny, and I was happy.
