"Baby, you're gonna do great." Johnny said as I hesitated in the car about therapy.

"I hate talking about my feelings." I said.

"Therapy is gonna help you, trust me." He said.

I nodded and have him a kiss. I walked inside and a sweet short woman lead me to her office. I sat down on a chair and started fidgeting with my rings.

"Hi there Alexandria, I'm Christina." She said.

"Hi." I said, nervously.

"Are you nervous?" She asked.

"A little. Maybe more." I said.

"Don't be. I'm here to help you through your problems. I don't bite. So tell me, what have you come here for?" She asked.

"Well, I have been having lots of anxiety attacks. And, I haven't been feeling like my usual happier self." I said.

"Is there a specific person affecting that?" She asked.

"Yes.." I said, hesitant.

"What is the persons name?" She asked.

"Michael." I said.

"When did this man Michael start affecting how you feel?" She asked.

"Ever since I broke up with him." I said.

"What has he done to affect you?" She asked.

"He um..." I said.

"It's okay Alexandria. You can talk to me. This conversation isn't leaving this room." She said.

"He raped me, multiple times." I said.

"Alexandria, have you told anyone since?" She asked.

"Not until about a week ago. I told my good friend Brian then my boyfriend Johnny." I said, looking down.

"How does your boyfriend feel about it?" She asked.

"He felt really bad that he didn't know, and ever since then he's been staying with me at my house." I said with a bit of a smile.

"I'm glad you have someone to protect you when you couldn't protect yourself Alexandria." She said.

"Me too. If I didn't have Johnny or my other friend's I would be dead." I said.

"I get it. I'm glad you have good friends Alexandria. You deserve it after what you've been through with Michael. I'll see you next week." She said, smiling.

I nodded and stood up, I said my goodbyes as I went outside. I saw Michael standing there. I ran as fast as I could back inside.

"Christina I need your help. Michaels out there." I said.

"Alright let me call the cops." She said, pulling out her phone.

I watched outside as he just waited there at my car, I'm glad he didn't see me even come out or he'd runaway if I went back inside and I wanted him gone. The police arrived and I showed them where my car was, and they took Michael. I was relieved.

"Thank you for making the right choice and telling me." Christina said, hugging me.

"I didn't want to go through that again." I said.

She nodded as I left, I was still scared, my hands were shaking. I went right to Johnnys house, I didn't feel safe going home by myself yet.
