Chapter 37

Lacey had a broken nose from the other night at the bar and let me tell you, Michelle and Val were pissed. They found out my number and they've been spamming me every single day.

"Why don't you just block them?" Jade asked.

"Because it's funny." I said, laughing.

"True but they aren't worth it." She said.

"You're right. I'll block them." I said, laughing a bit.

I blocked both their contacts, and Lacey's. I forgot how I had Lacey's contact.

"How did you learn how to fight so well?" Kiersten asked.

"Well, ever since Michael started beating the living shit out of me I took private lessons to fight better. Just in case Michael ever came again." I said.

"You my friend are full of fucking mysteries." Brian said.

"Damn girl anything else we need to know?" Jade asked, laughing.

"Not really, that was my only secret." I said, winking.

"Sure. Let's go back to your house Alex, I'm bored at this stupid bar." Kiersten said.

I nodded as I drove Jade and I to the house as Brian and Kiersten followed. We arrived at the house and surprise surprise Matt and the rest of them were there.

"Hey guys." I said.

"Hey Alex." Johnny said, kissing me.

"What's everyone doing here?" I asked.

"Just thought it would be fun to invite them over. Where have you guys been?" He asked.

"Brian and Kiersten wanted to show us this bar but it was super boring and old so we decided to come back here." I said, smiling.

"I see. Well we were just about to chill at the pool and have a barbecue." He said, smiling.

I nodded and gave him a kiss. I went upstairs and changed into my swimsuit, I felt the pool would be nice.

"May I borrow a swimsuit?" Jade asked, walking in my room.

"Of course. They're in my dresser." I said.

Jade nodded as she grabbed a swimsuit.

"Alex... what's this?" Jade asked.

"What's what?" I asked, walking out the bathroom.

She held up a tiny black box. Fuck. She found the ring I got for Johnny when we first started dating. I just never gave it to him.

"Fuck. Promise you won't tell anyone?" I asked.

"Fuck Alex are you cheating on Johnny?" She asked.

"What? No. I got a ring for him when we first started dating and I forgot to give it to him." I said.

"Oh, okay. Good. Why haven't you given it to him?" She asked.

"Because it's a promise ring. I'm scared that something will happen." I said.

"It's okay Alex, he's gonna love it no matter what and knowing Johnny he'll probably go and get it fixed if it ever breaks." She said.

"Right. Let's go to the pool. And hide the box under all my swimsuits." I said.

She nodded and placed the box back. We went downstairs and fuck. Michelle and her crew were here.

"What do we have here?" Jade asked.

"Lacey, would you like to tell Alexandria what has been going on?" Michelle asked.

"What do I need to know?" I asked.

"Well you see, your little husband isn't as innocent as he says he is." Lacey said, winking.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

Shit.

Lacey walked over to me and showed me texts between them. What the actual fuck? They were fucking sexting. SEXTING.

"Holy shit." I said.

"Johnny? Do you have something you'd like to fucking say to this?" Jade asked.

"I never fucking sexted her what the fuck?" Johnny said.

"We literally have proof dip shit!" Jade said.

"It could be edited. Fuck Lacey I never fucking texted you like that! I love Alexandria with all my fucking heart and now it's probably gone because of you." Johnny yelled.

"Oops." Lacey said, laughing.

"Here, Johnny. Let's go talk alone okay?" I asked, calmly.

He nodded as we went out to the porch, I grabbed his hand.

"Are you sure you never texted her?" I asked.

"Baby you know I would never do that to you. Never ever." Johnny said.

"Okay, I believe you. Maybe it was edited?" I asked.

"It probably is. Trust me, she's done it before." He said.

I nodded as we walked back inside.

"Lacey, we know your texts are edited." I said.

"How would you know?" Lacey asked.

"Because my husband doesn't love you." I said.

"But-" She started.

"No. Just shut the fuck up and leave." I said.

She rolled her eyes as her and the others left.

"Jesus Johnny I was about to beat your ass." Jimmy said.

"Why?" Johnny asked.

"Because Alexandria loves you idiot and nobody hurts my little sister." Jimmy said.

I smiled. Little sister.

"Well I love her too and I would never do anything to hurt her." Johnny said, kissing me.

After everyone left. I decided to give Johnny the ring. I showered first and I went in my dresser, I grabbed the box.

"What's that for?" Johnny asked.

"When we first started dating, I got this ring. It's a promise ring. I wanted to give it to you as a gift but I was afraid that it would break." I said.

"If it broke I'd go get it fixed." Johnny said, smiling.

I gave him the box and I could see his face light up. It was a ring with a death bat on it and our initials.

"I love this." Johnny said, smiling.

I smiled and kissed him. Fuck I was so happy with Johnny.
