Ever since I had that weird panic attack Johnny had checked on me everyday, always calling me. I felt happy to have someone here for me, although I could go through anything alone since I have for years ever since my parents passed away.

"Are you sure you don't want me over or anything?" Johnny asked.

"I will be okay. I have work." I said.

"I wish you didn't have to work." He said.

"I need money dear." I said.

"I know, I know. Can I take you out for dinner after work tonight?" He asked.

"Of course you can. I'll let you know when I am home." I said.

"Alright, I'll see you later beautiful. I might just stop by and say hi at work." He said.

"At least I'm getting paid for this." I said.

He laughed in the phone.

"I love you, I need to get ready for work." I said.

"I love you more. I'll see you soon." He said.

I hung up and got some jeans on, and my work shirt. Angel told me that I'm waitress for like five tables today. Which wasn't too bad.

"Hey Angel. Which table first?" I asked.

"Johnny's table." She said.

I nodded and went over to Johnny's table. The guys of course were sitting with him.

"Hey Alex!" Jimmy said.

I honestly was only fine with the guys calling me Alex. Jade too.

"What can I get you guys today?" I asked.

"We wanna do something different. Can we get the number fours, five of them and five beers?" Matt asked.

"What kind of beer? We have blue moon, Pabst blue ribbon, bud light, and corona." I said.

"We'll take five bud lights." Matt said.

I nodded and went to get their drinks first.

"Thank you dear." Johnny said, grabbing the beers.

"Of course. I'll be out here shortly with the meals." I said.

Johnny nodded as I got the food, they like to eat. I handed them their food and took on the next tables. Mostly all the customers were bitches. Fun day. I finally got out of work and went home. God this was the worst day. I texted Johnny as promised.

Me: I am home.

Johnny: Great. I'll give you time to get ready just call me when you're ready.

Me: Could we have dinner here? I am sorry. I am tired.

Johnny: Of course. You know I would never be mad about that. Don't be sorry. I'll pick up some pizza.

Me: Deal.

I put my phone down, and put on something more simple than my stupid work clothes. Johnny had arrived with pizza and it turned into a better night.

"How was your day?" Johnny asked.

"It was okay. I think." I said.

"Why do you just think?" He asked.

"Customers were just bitches." I said, rubbing my forehead.

"It's okay dear. People are people. I'm sorry customers were like that." He said.

"I guess it's part of being a waitress here." I said, shrugging.

"I'm here for you too. You should always know that." He said.

I smiled and kissed him. I was glad he was here for me. But then again, I could always handle stuff on my own. No matter what.
