It was the day before the wedding. We had managed to get everything set up and I was more than glad. I was stressed out and I didn't know why. I loved Johnny with all my heart and he meant more than the world to me.
"You okay baby?" Johnny asked.
"Yes. Just nervous." I said.
"It's okay to be nervous, but I want to spend my life with you. And I hope you feel the same." He said, grabbing my hands.
"I do feel the same. I have felt the same for so long. I love you Johnny." I said.
"I love you more." He said, giving me a kiss.
I started blushing, I couldn't help it. Every time he kissed me I always got butterflies.
"Why you blushing?" He asked, smiling.
"Nothing, I just get butterflies when you kiss me." I said, blushing even more.
He smiled as he kissed me again. God this man is the love of my life.
"I'm so ready to marry you tomorrow Johnny." I said, smiling.
"Trust me, I am too." He said, smiling.
It was pretty late, and I was tired, so I decided to get in the shower. I brushed my hair and got into some comfortable clothes as I got into bed, Johnny went in not long after me.
I could feel him close to me, and I enjoyed that feeling way more than Michael close to me. He wrapped his arm around my waist.
"I love you." He whispered, kissing my forehead.
"I love you too." I whispered back.
I fell right asleep and boom. It was already morning. The day. The big day. Our day.
"Good morning, you want coffee?" Johnny whispered in my ear, rubbing my back.
"Yes please." I said.
He went out of bed and got coffee. I sat up and checked my phone. It was early.
"Here's your coffee baby." He said, handing it to me.
I smiled and drank it. I still couldn't believe I was getting married to the love of my life today.
"I have to head over to Matts to do some last minute stuff." Johnny said.
I nodded as he gave me a kiss, and went out. I already missed him of course. I decided to invite Jade over so we can set up some stuff too.
"Hey girl! Why do you look like you haven't slept in days Jesus let's get you ready." Jade said.
"I forgot to take off my makeup after my shower last night, don't judge." I said, laughing.
She laughed as we walked upstairs.
"What do you want to wear future Alex Seward?" She asked.
"I don't care. Pick something for me while I get this off." I said, smiling.
She picked something cute but casual. Shorts and a black long sleeved cropped shirt.
"You ready to go set up the rest of the stuff? Weddings in 3 hours." She said.
"Yeah, let's go." I said.
We grabbed what we needed and headed to the church. Today I felt happier than I ever have before. Michael didn't make me feel this way. I'm glad I left.
"So, what else do we need to set up?" She asked.
"I need to write my vows, I keep forgetting." I said.
"Okay, show me after after." She said.
I wrote them. They were pretty long. I handed them to Jade and she looked like she was going to cry.
"This is so sweet. This is how much love you have for him?" She asked.
"I'd do anything for that man." I said, smiling.
She smiled as a few tears came down her eyes. I felt so happy.
"Shit we have to get you ready, it's already been an hour." She said.
"Right. Let's get ready." I said.
We got to the nail salon first, I just decided for white acrylics. My favorite. Jade got black nails. Casual Jade. We got to the hair salon next, and I got my hair curled with clips on the sides. I looked good. I got my makeup done and they did this cute Smokey eye look with fake lashes. I've never worn fake lashes. They looked like a spider on my eyes.
"You look so fucking gorgeous Alexandria." Jade said.
"You really think so?" I asked, looking at myself in the mirror.
"Yes I know so. We only have an hour left so let's get your dress and stuff on." She said.
Jade helped me get my dress on and I got my heels on.
"I feel so different." I said.
"You look magnificent. You look like a princess." She said, smiling.
"I want today to go perfect." I said.
"It will." She said.
I heard voices from Matt and Johnny coming in the church. I wanted to see him so bad but I had to wait.
The time has come and I was walking with Brian, and I saw everyone looking at me. I was so nervous.
I made it to Johnny and I smiled. He looked so handsome.
"You're so beautiful." He said, smiling.
"You're not so bad yourself Johnny Christ." I said, smiling.
"We gather here today for Alexandria Smith and Johnathan Seward." The pastor said.
Johnny cringed at Johnathan.
"Let's read Alexandria's vows. "Johnny. Ever since I met you at the party I immediately wanted to be close to you. I wanted you apart of my life. All of my heart and soul has become attached to you. You have been the most amazing boyfriend to me and you kept me safe even when I didn't feel like it. I love you." The pastor said.
Johnny started crying, I wanted to cry.
"Now for Johnny's. "Alexandria. When I met you I thought you looked so beautiful. You looked so kind and I wanted someone like you. I wanted you apart of my life. You have been so amazing to me and you understood everything that happened. You are so forgiving and you are so amazing. I could never lose you ever. You mean more than the world to me." The pastor said.
I cried. It was so beautiful.
"Now, Alexandria Smith. Do you take Johnathan Seward as your husband?" The pastor asked.
"I do. Always." I said.
"And Johnathan, do you take Alexandria as your wife?" He asked.
"Of course I do." He said.
"You may kiss your bride." He said.
Johnny pulled me in for a kiss and it was the most butterflies I've ever felt. I was married.
