מאז שהיה ילד, סומה בן ה-15 עזר לאביו במסעדה המשפחתית שלהם. במרוצת השנים סומה פיתח רצון להתעלות על אביו ובסופו של יום להיות הבעלים הגאים של המסעדה המשפחתית. לפתע אביו מחליט לסגור את המסעדה ולעבוד כטבח במסעדות יוקרה מסביב לעולם שזה היה מקצועו לפני שפתח את מסעדתם, ושולח את סומה לבחינות לאחד מהתיכונים המובילים בתחום הבישול אשר רק 10% מהנבחנים מצליחים להתקבל אליו. האם סומה יצליח להתקבל לתיכון הזה ולהתקדם עוד צעד אל עבר המטרה שלו?
