Three days later, Marley went to see Damon. "Are you gonna let me go?" Damon asked her.
"Not yet, I need to know that you mean no harm." Marley replied to him.
"You know what I am." Damon exclaimed.
Marley nodded. "Yeah, I know and what I meant is that you don't hurt anymore people."
Damon rolled with his eyes. "Yeah, right."
"Omg, don't be a child." Marley sighed.
"I'm not a child." Damon countered.
Marley looked at him. "Uhu."
"I'm not a child." Damon repeated.
"Well, you are acting like a child." Marley argued.
Damon huffed. "I'm not."
"Well, you do." Marley argued, again. "Would you finally tell me why you are really here?"
Damon shook with his head. "Nope."
"Okay." Marley nodded as then she walked away, but then Damon shouted.
"Wait, I will tell you." Damon shouted.
Marley turned around and walked towards to him. "Well, then, tell me."
"I'm gonna bring back Katherine." Damon explained it to her. "Before She and the others were killed in the church. Townspeople were killing vampires one by one. When they came for Katherine, I went straight to Emily, said, "I'll do anything. Name your price. Just protect her." She did. She did some kind of spell with the crystal. And while the church was burning, and we thought Katherine was burning in it, she wasn't. There's a tomb underneath the church. The spell sealed Katherine in that tomb, protecting her. She's been trapped in a mystical holding cell for the last century and a half. Did you know that witches can use celestial events to draw energy into their magic? Me either. But in order to give the crystal its power, Emily used the comet that was passing overhead. And, in order for that crystal to work again... The comet had to return. Long time in between comets. And, a couple of hiccups along the way with the crystal, but the comet passed, and I got the crystal. And then Caroline got the crystal."
"And you need the spell, I'm guessing?" Marley asked to him.
"I need the grimoire, but's that's in my father's grave." Damon replied to her.
Marley frowned. "And you need the crystal, but did you give it to Caroline?"
"For safe keeping." Damon replied.
"Okay, so, you need the grimoire and the crystal to free Katherine. Am I right?" Marley concluded.
"Yes." Damon nodded.
"And what will you do when you have Katherine back?" Marley asked.
"I will leave town and never return." Damon replied, looking at her.
"That's what I wanted to hear." Marley comment as then she opened the odor to let him out. "I will help you, so that the town will go back to normal."
"The town will never go back to normal." Damon told her.
Marley sighed. "Yeah, yeah." She told him. "When you leave, I hope that Stefan also leave, so that it can be normal."
"Stefan wouldn't leave Elena behind." Damon told her.
"You underestimate people." Marley comment.
Damon raised an eyebrow. "Like I underestimated you?"
"Yes." Marley nodded. "Now, shall we get your stuff?"
