Chapter 6 Dabria

The king leads us back to the extensive building that I first met the king in. Apparently, it is called the courtroom. I see Sam; I walk over to him. He is with a girl that I can only guess is Charlotte. "So as soon as I got into the fire classroom, they started talking about you standing up to Cody, who is Cody," says Sam with a curious look on his face. I looked at Cody. He looked like he was about to explode, but it seemed he did not want to show how angry he was. "This is Cody" I say, pointing at him. Sam looked starstruck, "You bullied Dabria" says Sam, still staring at him. I look at the king, seeing how he felt about this. He looked a little frustrated. Before anyone could say anything I say "He did not bully, he just stated his opinion, and I stated mine", I don't know why I defended him, I just felt I had and either way we were probably going to need him on this team. Cody looked confused for a moment, but I gestured for him to back me up on it. "Yeah, everything is good between us, no fighting," he says, smiling. Seriously, that was the best he could think of. We're really going to have to work on that if we're going to be able to work together. Everyone looked at us weirdly, and the room was silent, but the king broke the silence by saying, "Now that we have found your powers, we need to find your weapons. Come along". He was smiling but still looking at me and Cody weirdly, but he finally turned away from us.

As the king walks us to the weapons room, Cody walks slowly in the back and gestures for me to come back. "Why did you defend me?" Cody asks. "I don't know, I just knew if I did not you would probably get kicked off the team, and I know you have been training your whole life for it" I say, I did not want to give him the luxury of knowing that I knew that we needed him on this team. "Just because of that does not mean I like you now, but we are cool for now" he says. "That's cool with me" I say, like I care if he likes me or not, we get to the room and there are weapons everywhere, and all kinds from knives to spears. "I have to leave so chose wisely" says the king as he walks out the room. As soon as he leaves Charlotte says "so love birds what were you talking about", at first I did not know what she was talking about but then it dawned on me she was talking about me and Cody. I did not want to give her the delight of knowing that she was getting to me so I asked her about it but then someone whispered something and I said "Who are you calling love birds" in a loud voice. I grad a knife and start spinning it in my hands. "Just you and Cody of course, so what were you guys talking about?" says Charlotte. Cody looked like he was going to answer but I was too mad to let him. "First Charlotte we are not love birds and what we were talking about is none of your business" I say while giving Charlotte and Cody nasty looks, Sam and Leo were staring at me and Cody was just messing around with a knife. I was so overwhelmed with emotions I threw the knife I had in my hand right in the eye of the dummy right across from me without looking.

Cody looked at me and says "stick to another weapon knives are mine". It's not like I wanted them anyway, I had a different weapon on my mind. "I don't want them, anyway" I say, I was calmer. For some reason all the anger drifted away till there was nothing left. That anger came from nowhere, was perfectly fine till someone whispered something. Then I remembered what Sam said about Charlotte's power, she can charm speak. "I was so angry because you used your charm speaking on me, that is why I was calm again when Cody said something, even though he was trying to seem mean he helped me and to that I say thank you" I say he was glaring at me like I just threatened him. "Better calm down your hand is smoking again" I say calmly looking at a sword. "So what is your power" Cody says looking at Sam. "I have the power of wind or as some like to call it air" he says, Cody laughs and then he falls to the ground like someone pushed him. Sam laughs, "Who's laughing now" says Sam, laughing and smiling. Cody glared at him, I am starting to think that is his favorite face to make. "So what is your power Dabria" asks Sam, I was going to answer him but Cody got up. "Powers she's got more than one, which is unusual, and totally unfair" says Cody while rolling his eyes. "Mine are water and talking to animals" I say looking up at Sam then back down at the sword.

"So what are your guys weapons, I know that Codys is a knife he made that very clear" I say looking up at the others now. "I don't have one yet, but I will find one" says Charlotte sharply. "Have you tried a sword yet?" I say, handing her the one I was admiring earlier. She grabs it and starts slicing the air, she seems to like it. I turn to Leo, "What about you Leo?" I ask, Sam looked like he was going to say something but then Leo says "I don't have one." his voice was very low, it was almost a whisper. Sam stares at Leo then says "I thought you did not like to talk". Everyone was looking at him like they were wondering the same thing. "I don't. I just had a feeling that she was good to talk to" says Leo, his voice was so nice, soft, and soothing, like a lullaby. "How about a spear Leo" I ask, he grabs a spear with a nice green spiral of metal at the bottom of the spear head, and where the wood starts. He throws it at the dummy and hits it right in the neck, he seems to be pretty satisfied with it. "That seems to work" I say, he nods and smiles. "Now for Sam" I say I look around and see two axes with red metal handles, they looked perfect for Sam, I grab them and say "how about axes" he grabs them and throws one right into the shoulder so far it almost cuts it off. "Feel good" I ask, he looks at me nods then goes to get the axe, then admires it. I look around looking for a weapon for me, than I see a beautiful bow with a nice black color, and little metal silver vines  that almost looked rusty but still beautiful connected to the sides of the bow. The arrows were in a quiver that was black with the same little metal silver vines. I picked them up and shot an arrow in the other eye of the dummy that I threw the knife in.
