"And you're still doing nothing??" Jeongwoo sounded angry as hell, "That goddamn bitch is double timing behind Doyoung's back!""I know, I saw that with my own eyes." Haruto was angry as well. "That's why I came here to seek help from you." He looked at Jeongwoo with pleading eyes, "What should I do?"
Jeongwoo suppressed his agitation a bit and sat down on Haruto's bed. They were currently at the elder's house.
"We need to tell him." Jeongwoo suggested.
"He won't believe us " Haruto spoke in sorrow. It was true, and Jeongwoo had no choice but to agree.
"I still don't get it... If she really has that rich motherfucker as her sugar daddy, why is she playing with Doyoung?" He asked instead. Haruto responded with silence and pursed lips.
"No but think about it." Jeongwoo continued, "It's not like she's getting much from Doyoung anyway! Doyoung isn't that popular, doesn't buy her gifts and stuff, doesn't take her home or anything. Isn't it better for her to dump him and just be with that other guy?"
"Maybe." Haruto shortly replied.
"Unless she actually loves him, which I highly doubt." Jeongwoo said, "Ruto yah, what do you think?"
"I... Don't know." Haruto was feeling a little uncomfortable. This confused Jeongwoo.
"Why are you acting like this?" The younger asked. Then, something clicked in his head, "Do you know something? Are you hiding that from me?"
"No!!" Haruto quickly denied.
"Haruto." Jeongwoo strongly spoke, "You know when you ask help from someone, you need to be honest with them."
"I am. I've told you everything!" The Japanese insisted.
"Really?" Jeongwoo came closer and stared directly into Haruto's eyes. Those trembled.
"You didn't." He concluded. "And I won't help you unless you tell me absolutely everything."
"Jeongwoo, I really did-"
"Why is someone so desperate to ruin your image in front of Doyoung?" Jeongwoo asked, "They must know you well for this. They must know how much Doyoung matters to you."
Haruto silently listened. Jeongwoo was getting somewhere, somewhere close to the truth.
"That means, they must be friends with you." Jeongwoo talked to himself, "You have plenty of friends but not many knows you like Doyoung. Except for a few." He narrowed his eyes, "But it doesn't make sense, none of your friends would go and manipulate Hyeri to help them like- Oh!" Jeongwoo looked like he found something brilliant, "Oh! Wait! I got it... No one has any reason to manipulate her except if she herself wishes to do so!" He snapped his fingers, "Ruto yah! I think Hyeri herself is doing all these!"
Haruto didn't look a bit surprised at Jeongwoo's sudden discovery. The younger became even more doubtful, "Don't tell me you knew it beforehand?"
Haruto nodded. "I realized it at the very first occurrence."
"Why didn't you tell me before then!?" Jeongwoo whined in frustration. "And why is she doing this?"
Haruto sighed. He definitely knew more than he let out.
"Ruto, tell me." Jeongwoo said, "If you don't, I'm out of this." He stood up and pretended to walk out. Haruto quickly stopped him, "Yah! Don't leave me with this alone!"
"Then tell me." Jeongwoo spoke with sass.
"Fine." Haruto admitted his defeat. Jeongwoo walked back to the bed and sat down on it. Haruto started his tale afterwards.
