"Aren't you being ridiculous right now? You just got better and you wanna join a chaotic party?" Jeongwoo scolded Haruto, who wasn't planning to listen to him at all.
"Look, I said I'm gonna be fine, I'm okay now! I can easily enjoy the party!" Haruto said instead.
"I agree with Jeongwoo," Doyoung said. The 3 of them were sitting in their usual lunch table. It was a few days after Haruto's discharge from hospital. He was still pretty weak, suffering from headache every now and then. His parents forbid him to even join the school but Haruto was stubborn. He had to, because he didn't wanna leave Doyoung alone. As the 6th of July approached, he became more and more aware, protecting Doyoung at all costs!
"Not you too!" Haruto complained. The topic of interest- Junkyu's friend's party, which the three were supposed to attend, had it not been for the unfortunate incident. However, Haruto seemed reluctant to miss it. Jeongwoo and Doyoung, none of them realized that the eagerness of the Japanese came from one resolution- to do the match making between Jeongwoo and Junkyu before his time was up.
"But he's right." Doyoung said, "The loud music, crowd of people, alcoholic drinks- all of them are bad for you at this moment!"
"Doyoungie, I can cope up, really." Haruto assured, "Besides, I'm not gonna drink!"
"Ruto, it's just a party! It will come and go, you can join the next one, when you're healthy!" Jeongwoo said. Haruto coldly stared at him.
"Will you go if I don't?"
Jeongwoo took a moment to reply in the negative. "So what if I miss it? I'm not that eager about it!"
"It's something Junkyu hyung invited you to!" Haruto insisted.
"So?? I can't risk your health for that!"
"Then just attend it on your own?" Haruto requested. Jeongwoo bit his lips. No way he was gonna go there, alone.
"We all will go." Haruto said, standing up, "I'm gonna go to the washroom." He winked at Doyoung, pinching him lightly on the arm unnoticed by Jeongwoo. Doyoung understood the gesture, and a while later, followed where Haruto went.
"What?" He asked as soon as he saw Haruto waiting for him.
"Why are you agreeing with him? We must make him attend this!" Haruto whispered.
"Well, I'm worried about you, that's why. It won't be good for you if-"
"Trust me, I can do this." Haruto said, "Besides, we can always leave if I feel bad, right?" He suddenly held Doyoung by the shoulder, "We must make Jeongwoo attend this, Junkyu hyung has a plan."
Doyoung frowned, "Is he gonna confess?"
Haruto shrugged, "Who knows! I just know that this party will be a great opportunity for them, don't let him miss it, please."
"But what about you?" Doyoung wasn't convinced.
"Me? Well, I have you." Haruto smiled, "I know you can take care of me." His sweet smile sent a wave of happiness at Doyoung, who couldn't disagree anymore. Sighing, he said, "Fine then. Let's go convince him."
Haruto looked happy. He immediately held Doyoung by one arm around his shoulder, and skipped towards Jeongwoo. Doyoung suppressed the shy smile that was about to form on his face from the fast pace of his heartbeat.
Jeongwoo saw them together, and realized immediately that they had made a plan.
"So you took Doyoung on your side, huh?" He asked, defeated. Haruto grinned. "So, what are you gonna wear? As I know, you only have bunch of white shirts"
