The Unknown Nostalgia {1}

-The Next Day-

7:00 PM

"Ah~ my heart can't stop beating so fast!" Aimi exclaimed, "Don't get too excited Aimi", "Yo!", Gintoki and the rest of the yorozuya just arrived. "Yorozuya gang!" Aimi cheerfully greeted them, "did you guys receive the money?" She asked, "yup, thanks a lot" Gintoki said with his eyes gleaming, "a lot you say, Gintoki-sama? Perhaps you should pay last month's rent together with this month's, Otose-san is mad at you" Tama approached them with Tamako, "Tama! So you're in charge" Gintoki said while he dropped a sweat. Kagura smiled while Sadaharu shrank and barked merrily. "Yes, I and Tamako were assigned to focus on the map and coordination works, and as well as for the 'go home' button" Tama informed them while glancing at the machine then to the Yorozuya. "Hello, Tamako-chan", Shinpachi greeted.

"did you all eat dinner? I sure hope not, some of you might barf while traveling" Aimi chuckled, Shinpachi noticed Aimi holding a bag that looks full, "uh, Aimi-san, that seems a lot, what are you going to bring?", "oh, this? Are you sure you want to know?" Aimi looked at Shinpachi with seductive eyes, Shinpachi blushed and stuttered, "u-uh, no it's okay, I was just curious!", How cute, a simple virgin will act as a simple virgin, although, most of the people here are virgins. Well, isn't that interesting, Aimi smiled playfully and Tsukuyo noticed and was disturbed a bit, she knows who Aimi is, that's why she's being cautious. "You're not bringing your signature bitchy pipe? Are you trying to be a proper lady as a disguise?" Gintoki asked Tsukuyo, Tsukuyo stopped thinking and gasped a short breath after Gintoki interrupted her thoughts. "I don't intend on bringing it with me for reasons", "oh about that, I brought your pipe with me, Tsukuyo-san, I thought you forgot it so I included it" Aimi smiled, Tsukuyo sighed heavily, but suddenly, they hear footsteps, "Is everyone here?" Umibozu asked, "yo! Papi" Kagura greeted her dad, "Ah, Kagura" Umibozu sat down.

"You know-- if you're not comfortable with this mission, you can exclude yourself, this trip is very dangerous" Umibozu was worried, "even though you're the one who trained me all this time, pops? Don't worry" Kagura smiled, Umibozu, Gintoki, and Shinpachi glowed at her, "You better not underestimate your daughter, almost everyone is just a-" Kagura was interrupted suddenly when a hand was placed on her head, slightly pulling her head only for her to look above, and she saw a glimpse of the owner of the hand that was touching her. "Everyone, you say? I don't think so, miss" Sougo let go of Kagura and place both of his hands in his pocket. Kagura clicked her tongue. "I can't believe you're coming too", "well, it's my job" he deadpanned, Kagura picked up Sadaharu and suddenly felt an uneasy  pressure coming from her father for a few seconds and scoffed. 

Hijikata, Hajime, and Sougo arrived. "Hello everyone!" Hajime greeted, kagura smiled at Hajime and waved at him, so did Shinpachi and Aimi. Umibozu approached Hijikata and Sougo, "Oho... The Shinsengumi? I see that I'll be working with you two again... with a child? I hope things will go smoothly. Thank you for offering a helping hand", "well, these alien scumbags have been bothering us too, thank you for allowing us to go with you" Hijikata told Umibozu. "Everyone! 10 minutes before we leave" Aimi informed them, "Where's Nobume and Bakamui?" Kagura asked, "bakamui? Don't tell me that criminal's actually coming with the commander-cheif?" Sougo said as he glanced at Hijikata, "I guess brats will always be brats" hijikata said in return, "who?" Hajime tilted his head,

"Well isn't this a full house?", everyone looked out of the workshop to see Kamui and Nobume. "Are we late?" Kamui smiled while closing his parasol, beside him was Nobume, "If we're losing time, then we may as well just hurry up". Kamui eyed both Shinsengumi officers, "oh? I see a familiar face here"  Kamui pointed at Sougo, "Good grief, and here I thought you were arrested" Sougo ironically smirked, "haha, as if I'll get arrested by the likes of you" he smiled. "More idiots" Hijikata and Shinpachi sighed. Kagura wanted to greet her brother but she hesitated when Kamui and Sougo talked, she approached Nobume instead. 

"Chuz! Okay, everyone!" Aimi caught all their attention, "So the brothers will go to one place first and that will be revealed when we teleport to somewhere from the 5 dimensions. We will be sperated, of course, but if anything unusual happens, use the watch messenger to inform us. The brothers can't go to other dimensions separately since their powers are also their source of energy so don't worry. And please..... don't let your guard down" Aimi informed them, Umibozu nodded, "indeed, these three are vastly powerful and can only be killed if you crush their heart, but, we have two objectives, protect the kounan's blood and contact them with altana, and capture all of them".

A few moments later... 

They explained what to do and what to know duly, Gengai gave them each watches. "Be mindful everyone! You can also involve someone by touching them, this machine ain't like the brother's, they can't bring any souls with them when they get back, although this machine was just powered by all of the energy we could get that is necessary, so if you touch past or different self, they will come with you. It will become more dangerous if they do".

They all stood and heard a beep and saw one two of the dots on the watch lit up green, Aimi chuckled, "Cocky bastards, aren't they?" Aimi said implying that the brothers were early. "Are you ready? Tama, if I pulled the lever down, you and Tamako will push those two red button", "Understood, Gengai-san" Tama nodded. Shinpachi gulped while Gintoki was starting to feel sick for some reason, but they were ready to face the unknown. Umibozu held his umbrella tightly as he looked at everyone, "Be careful" He told all of them. 

Gengai pulled the lever while Tama and Tamako did the task they needed to do and suddenly-- everything started glowing blue and white....... ZAP!!

Gengai was stunned, 

Aimi, Umibozu, Gintoki, Shinpachi, Kagura, Sadaharu, Tsukuyo, Hijikata, Sougo, Hajime, Nobume, and Kamui has left and departed to a place they expect to be home...

"Kagura-neechan! Commander-Neechan!", 

"h-hajime-kun?", kagura groaned, Kagura sat and saw Nobume trying to stand up, "Nobume? Are you okay...", "thank goodness, you two woke up!", "Where are we?" Kagura asked, "I don't know but... we're in a dark alleyway" Nobume replied, Nobume helped Kagura stand up. The teleportation was deranged, the three of them were still dizzy even after for a few minutes that they couldn't keep up that much.             They all stood properly, "where..... or when are we?" Kagura asked. They all looked confused and alert at the same time, they didn't know if they're in a different world or if the machine miserably failed, but even so, they had to be cautious. "Get your hoods ready" Nobume told them. They all put on a hood except for Hajime. 

Kagura was the first one to peep out of the alleyway, and second was Nobume, they both observed their surroundings, trying to not to feel their stomach sink. Kagura's eyes widened as she saw young mucky Seita and gasped even louder when she saw Seita come out of the snack shop, "what's wrong Kagura? Isn't that-", Kagura pulled Nobume and Hajime back into the alleyway, "We're back in the past!".
