40 minutes later after past Otose and past Yorozuya took in young Seita and Hajime, Kagura and Nobume tried to find the others without going outside Kabuki District but failed.

"I guess we have to wait for another 15 minutes to contact them," Kagura said to Nobume.
Kagura, Sadaharu, and Nobume were in an alleyway beside the Otose Snack. "Sadaharu, I need you to keep your small form, I don't want your past self finding you", "woof!".

"He should go on a break by now" Nobume informed, "okay we should go".

...
10 minutes later...

Somewhere in a Forest near Kabuki...

"Kagura-nee-chan, Commander-nee-chan!" Hajime called out. Hajime saw Kagura and Nobume sitting on a log and approached them gleefully. "Hajime-Kun, phew-", "Otose-san told me to take a break for 20 minutes and come back" Hajime informed them, "yup, you'll be working there for 2 days and then they'll take you to Yoshiwara with Seita," Kagura said, "we'll tail you" Nobume added.

"So did you start reaching my past self the Altana?" Kagura asked, Hajime pulls out a white blanket from his pocket, and inside were two small altanas, "not yet, but your younger self was touchy, so I guess it'll be easy" Hajime told Kagura, "touchy?". 

"You need to be cautious, try to let young Kagura touch the Altana as much as possible without being suspicious," Nobume told Hajime, Hajime nodded, Strange planet, even when this is a different world, I still feel an eerie sensation, Hajime thought.

Kagura, Nobume, and Hajime instantly looked at their watches,

"Hello everyone! I hope you guys are well, this is Aimi through the announcement call setting. I know this is crazy, but a battle will be at Yoshiwara, according to Gintoki-san and Tsukuyo-san,

Speaking of which, I'm with Gintoki-san, Tsukuyo-san, and Shinpachi-Kun, I also suggest all of you use the call setting only if you need to because it sucks a lot of energy and you guys won't be able to contact us or know if the brothers are here , so anyway, I only have 3 minutes left until this call will end,

The brothers aren't near Young Kagura and Kamui yet, so we have to hurry. We four are in Yoshiwara, try to be cautious if some of you want to meet us, feel free, you know what our goal is, and remember! We have to make the events that are going to happen- happen! bye!"

At the seaside...

"Umibozu-san, did you hear that?", "So they're trying to get Kagura and Kamui in a disastrous state, frantic bastards. Toushi-san, we better hurry up" Umibozu and Hijikata hopped on a small spaceship.

Somewhere in the West of Edo...

On a random roof...

"Hm, I still haven't found an enemy yet, we should focus on the compounds first then" Sougo pulled out his katana, "don't get too excited, officer. And remember, we also need to find the syringes. One screw-up and I'll just leave you here" Kamui said with a smile on his face. "Don't worry, I have no intention to work with your plan", "hm, what plan?" Kamui chuckled. 

Back in Kabuki...

Kagura and Nobume looked at each other optimistically and stood up, "So the enemy hasn't made a move yet, I'm not surprised" Nobume said,

Kagura looked at Hajime and gently pat his head, "Okay Hajime, go back now, we'll always check on you and remember the plan, don't be suspicious!" She said and smiled, "Kagura, we'll just have to follow Hajime and yourself for now" Nobume said, "yeah".

10 minutes later, Hajime went back to Otose's snack shop. Before he could open the door, he checked if the Altana was in his pocket and exhaled.

Hajime held an optimistic smile and went inside, "this is my mission!". Hajime entered and saw past Tama handing him a clean rag to start his work again, "You kids better work properly" Otose reminded Hajime and past Seita.

10 minutes have passed and Hajime was sitting down, drinking water since his shift was over. I guess I have to wait and work here for a week, they said the enemy won't move until a battle starts, speaking of which... Young Kagura entered the snack shop cheerfully with shinpachi. Hajime gazed at her, I should start using the altanas on small Kagura-neesan now. Hajime took out the white handkerchief with Altana inside and approached young Kagura.

Young kagura noticed Hajime walking towards her, so she smiled and waved at him, "Yo! Haji-Kun", Hajime flinched a little and smiled back, Kagura-neesan was a little different back then, he thought. "Hello, Kagura-chan and Shinpachi-Kun", "Hello Hajime-Kun, we're glad to see that you're working hard as well" Shinpachi replied, "Yeah, I have to earn some money for these people I'm looking for", "'these'? I thought it was only one" Shinpachi wondered, "Well I was looking for that one person only but I also want to check the other one" Hajime answered, it's true though... he thought.

"Are you new here in kabuki? I have never seen you here before" Otose asked Hajime, Hajime gulped and grinned, "Me and my... Brothers don't go out too often, and whenever we go out we don't go here in kabuki" Hajime said, "really? Since you're new here, do you want us to tour you so you won't get lost easily, kid?" Young Kagura invited Hajime while young Shinpachi agreed. I can easily find others with my tracking strings so I won't get lost, though, Hajime thought.         "S-sure Kagura-chan!"

Hajime was worried that young Kagura might get snatched when they go out. Hajime eyed the door then he faked gasped; "uhh, excuse me for a moment, I think I left something at the alleyway while I was taking the trash out earlier", "do you want us to help you find it?" Young shinpachi asked, "no thank you! I think I can find it easily so please wait for me" Hajime smiled and went outside to the alleyway.

There Hajime saw them, "Hajime-Kun, what's the heads up?" Kagura asked while giving tiny sadaharu a treat, "and the altana?" Nobume asked Hajime, "Kagura-neesan, Commander-neesan! How was the call?", "we'll settle for now, since all of our plans were different, but it won't stray our goal" Nobume said, "oh, Young Kagura-chan and Shinpachi are going to tour me after I come back", "a tour?" Kagura wondered as she looked at Nobume, "then we'll follow you, try to give young Kagura the Altana without letting strangers see it. This is risky but, it might make things easier " Nobume informed.
