Morgan

Renee refused to speak to me, he would only shake his head in disappointment and leave the room when I entered, it was irritating but deserved. I didn't know what to do; I had never so completely lost control of myself and lashed at someone intent on making them hurt, I had stopped being that man long ago and the thought that he had even briefly appeared again had me running scared. Jezella was being to become annoying even more than normal, she just wasn't doing well with the concept of mourning before we went on with the wedding plans.

Jezella sighed angrily as she sat ram wood straight one of the chairs in front of my desk her dark hair pulled elegantly over her shoulder in a twist streaked with the very lightess honey brown color, she wore head to toe black giving her body the look of dancer. She was beautiful but her beauty did nothing for me but turned my stomach, though try as I might to force myself to want her it was no use. The warm dark chocolate eyes of my mate were forever burned into my mind.

"You're thinking of her again, aren't you?" whispered Jezella

At that moment all I wanted to do was run and leave this place behind, the mention of her reopened the still barely healed wound of losing her; only Alphas could have more than one mate but I knew I would be able to share my heart with any other person.

"No I was thinking of Lady Brigham, I need to apologize it was unkind of me to yell at her like that." I sighed

"She deserved it Morgan, she was terribly disrespectful to several occupants of the palace and if she wanted an apology she would have asked for one." She growled as she held both armrests in a death grip, she hated Brigham and saw her as a threat even though it was forbidden for me to marry an Elemental.

"Enough Jay I'm tired of your childish antics, she's still a baby compared to us, and how can you be jealous of her. I chose you out of the other woman in the entire kingdom, I told you before that I would protect you, give you my name and status is that not enough?" I snapped coming across the desk to glare down at her.

"I want to be loved." She whispered

"Jezella"

"I'm so sorry Morgan; I thought I was saving you from the pain you were constantly wallowing in after her death. I wanted to do that from you, but I can't." She wailed as the black streaks of mascara ran down her face

"Jezella I want you to find the love that I lost, go I hear by free you from this 'engagement'" I whispered as I slowly wiped away the tears and kissed her forehead. "You will always be welcome in my home Jay, go in peace."

We stood and walked out the door together she turned towards the right corridor and I to the left; I could be to the Hawks and back before the sun went down if I hurried and "Wolfed" it all the way. I quickly changed into a pair of black jeans and a off white button up shirt and jogged into the Danomin

The Werewolf clans were not at all like the fake movie werewolves they had on earth, when we changed we kept everything we have on before we changed. I could feel my bones lengthen and thicken and fur breakout all over my body, I was a process that took all of 5min. The only pain was when my teeth burst forth from my gums and hung partially out of my mouth while my muzzle grew in but it was over before it really began. Soon I was flying through the forest the wind tearing through my fur was delicious welcome as my wolf awoke, Altair barely spoke anymore since the loss of our mate.

'Ahhh where are we going?' whispered Altair

'To see Brigham' I huffed

'You were cruel to the Lady'

"Yes I know why do you think we're going, to yell at her some more.'

'She isn't our mate'

'I know bud' why was he bringing this up I wonder.

"No I mean.......

He went silent as I came to a complete stop above me on a cliff overlooking the dry riverbed I'd been running on was warrior, female by the amount of hair blowing around the face like a nimbus of chocolate brown light. The sun glinted of a black and silver weapon pinned on her back that made my stomach clinch; a double headed scythe both blades facing opposite directions with one side serrated and the other smooth, a weapon like that could do serious damage and only an experienced warrior would ever be allowed to wield one. She crotched forward like she was looking for something down below in the trees not that far ahead, suddenly she tensed and turned to lock gazes with me my heart almost exploded in my chest as one thought filled our conjoined minds.

'Brigham?'
