Daisy (#scifriday)

Desperately I've been following the trail of calls that a mystery man is leaving me. I don't know why but I seem to be hypnotized by his words, "Follow me." So I did follow him and I found myself picking a bunch of daisies on a garden and buying an umbrella since he instructed me. After that I continued following the ringing sound coming from different phones haphazardly lying around in obscure places giving me some instructions. But now, I seem to have lost the trail. "God! Where is it now?" I thought. I fell silent for a while trying to hear the faint sound getting louder. Is it moving? A woman walked past me and I knew that the sound was coming from her phone so I followed her.  

"Miss! Could I borrow your phone?" The woman looked at me dubiously then my bare feet, which made her laugh. I thought she wasn't going to budge but she gave it to me. As expected, like other people, she couldn't hear the ringing sound as well. I ignored it and answered the phone.

"Everything went according to our plan, good job!"

"I'm sorry but who's this?"

"Isn't it obvious? I'm you from the future! I hacked through some phones to leave it as breadcrumbs, a trail of clues. You're the only one that could hear the tune because the frequency specifically stimulates your ear drums like you're wearing an invisible headphones,"

"What-what are you talking about?" I shuddered to his wild explanation.

"The future is cool isn't it?  Trust me one last time, young me. It's going to rain in 20 seconds so I want you to open up your umbrella and shade in the beautiful lady by your side. I'll leave the rest to you young me,"  Is this real? If it would really rain, I'd totally believe this guy, but that's impossible! I watched my clock as I started to count off 5 seconds before the predicted rain: 5-4-3-2-1. It rained!

"Oh my God it's raining, oh I don't have any umbrella!" the lady said. Naturally, I opened up my umbrella and shared it with her.

"Hi! Do you like daisies?" I asked

"I love daisies,"
