CHRISTOPHER'S B-BASH

Chris looked around his room to see May on the floor. He had forgotten she was sleeping there. Should he get up or should he just wait for Buck and dad to wake up he thought to himself. Getting up he tried to be as quiet as he could as he walked out his bedroom door he saw people in the kitchen seeing Bobby and Athena making breakfast. As he said good morning to Bobby and Athena he asked "Are Dad and Buck still sleeping". " Yes sweetie you can go try and wake them up" Athena says as she looks at Bobby who is making eggs. As he walked to his dad's bedroom door he opened it slowly to see Buck and his dad cuddling. As he jumped into the bed crawling up he laid in the middle of them as they both woke up to see the new guest in the bed. They looked at each other and then grabbed Chris as they cuddled him too. While they whispered " Happy Birthday" as they both cuddled him into the bed with them to sleep a little more. But Chris wasn't having any of it " Come on wake up Mr. Bobby and Athena are making breakfast. I'm hungry!" Chris said as he tried to get out from the hold both his Dad and his Bucky had on him. But they weren't letting him go. " Come on dads let go!" he said as they let him go as he got off the bed he could see the way Buck and his dad were looking at each other. He didn't understand it but he knew it was something. As he walked out of the room to the kitchen.

" Good morning Buck, how did you sleep?" Eddie said, trying to change the subject, wanting to know what Buck would say in the simple way Chris called them both dad.

" I slept okay, you know it was very emotionally draining but let's just focus on Christopher." Buck said, running the word dads in his head over and over. As he was about to get up from the bed, Eddie stopped him. " I have to ask you something" Eddie said as he heard knocking on the door before Buck could reply it was Bobby at the door telling them Breakfast was ready. " Can you ask me later?" Buck said, smiling as he walked to the restroom. To get dressed. While Eddie walked around his room grabbing his clothes as he put the papers back into the drawer. He needed to figure out the perfect way to tell Buck. He really wanted it to be the first step to them becoming a permanent family. As he finished getting dressed he headed outside to see everyone in the kitchen. " Good Morning" said Eddie to the rest of the people in his kitchen. " hi honey are you hungry, we are going to be pretty busy, you should eat." Athena says as she places a plate of food in front of Eddie. And then as Buck comes out of the restroom she hugs him and then places one in front of him too.

As they all ate breakfast they heard the doorbell ring. Both Buck and Eddie jumped a little. Looking at each other. Fear coming back to them. As they grabbed the table to get up but mostly to ground themselves. When they were up Bobby stopped them and told them to sit back down as he went to see who was at the door. Followed by Athena. " We should put up a sign to not ring the doorbell. Did you see how they jumped out of their own skin? ''Bobby says whispering to his wife. As she said yes as she opened the door to find Hen and Karen along with Denny. ''We came early to get our assignments for the party" Hen says as she and her family are ushered into the house.

As they walked into the kitchen Buck and Eddie were lost in their own little world but when they heard the door open they saw Hen and Karen walking in. " Good morning guys, how was your night?" Hen asks but regrets it by the looks Bobby and Athena are giving her. But before someone could change the subject Buck simply says " it was tiring to say the least. But you guys are hungry, we have plenty of food. " he says changing the subject.

" Sure Buckaroo we can eat" Karen says as she sits at the counter.

They ate and then Buck and Eddie took Chris to get dressed before they sent him with Carla so everyone else could go set everything up for the party.

" They seem...good considering" Hen said quietly to the rest of them.

" They are acting like they are ok but they really aren't. They jump at the sound of the doorbell. And Buck barely ate his food; he just played with it. He passed it off to Eddie." Athena says quietly.
