Emptying a blood bag into a shiny glass, Klaus Mikaelson sat in his study as he reanalyzed the situation his family was currently positioned in. After finding out that Dominic, who is now dead thanks to Elijah, stole Papa Tunde's blade before he died and disappeared, he had realized how badly they were in trouble right now. For eliminating The Hollow, they must have the four bones of Inadu's original body-- four bones which they do not have, and do not have a clue as to where they should even start looking for them.
It was frustrating, really, and he was starting to get tired of the feeling.
"Ugh, O-positive. You heathen." Elijah deadpanned as he walked through the doors to the room and glanced at the empty blood bag on the table.
"New rules. No bloodshed in the house where my daughter and Cassie's son sleep and play." Klaus countered and winced after sniffing the smell of the stored, cold blood in his glass. "Perhaps I'll go out for dinner."
"Oh, no, no, no." Elijah quickly stepped closer and held his hand up in disapproval. "We have no way to know who will take Dominic's place as the Hollow's right hand. There could be any number of disciples out there-"
"Yes, yes, yes, all who may have the means to kill us." The hybrid responded lazily with a dismissive wave of his hand. "You know, if you hadn't been so hasty to kill him, we'd be dealing with the devil we know."
Elijah merely smiled in sarcasm before he turned around to leave. "Spoken by the devil I know best of all."
"I take it you have a plan?" Klaus' question stopped him in his tracks.
"Freya will place a barrier spell on the compound. No one gets in or out." He replied with a sigh, already predicting the expected protest that may come from his brother.
"Oh, so we're to stay here while our enemies seek to resurrect this monstrosity, and let me guess.." Klaus began to approach his brother, who now turned to face him again, and pointed an accusing finger at him. "You won't be confined here."
"I have a wedding to plan." Elijah shrugged with a joyful grin.
Klaus huffed in annoyance. "And while you're off cavorting all over town on the hunt for the perfect tux, I'm what? Grounded?"
"Essentially." Elijah retorted as he narrowed his eyes and gave one last statement. "Why don't you take out your frustration on that filthy jawbone our enemy seems so fascinated by?"
With a devilish smirk, Klaus left the room.
"Gladly."
