Serena's P.O.V
The walk to school was short since it was only 3 blocks away. I could see students outside, goofing off, or some doing drugs like smoking. I shivered as I thought about a certain memory. No don't think it, it's in the past, I thought as I headed inside the school and went to the front office to get my schedule.
I walked up the lady and asked "Hi, um, I'm here to pick up my schedule." The lady just looked bored as she gave me my schedule. I thanked her and left quickly. I looked at the schedule to see what I have first. Math, where is that?, I thought as I looked around, confused.
I turned around just as someone bumped into me. I closed my eyes, waiting to fall but it never came, though I did feel a tight grip on my waist. I opened my eyes, only to see blue eyes staring back at me. We didn't say anything, just staring at each other.
We both snapped out of it when the bell rang. The boy stood me up, but he never let go of me.
