Unexpected Love

Chapter 11

Calem's P.O.V

I woke up to something tickling my nose. I crinkled my nose before itching it. I opened my eyes and immediately was blinded by the sunlight. I groaned and pulled my weirdly pillow closer.

Since when did my pillow have hair, I thought as I nuzzled my face. I heard a slight giggle but I ignored it and went to fall back asleep. As I was trying to go back to sleep, I felt something poking me on my face and side.

I groaned again and opened my eyes only to see a smiling Serena looking at me in my arms. I widened my eyes at realization but relaxed at the thought that she's in MY arms.

"Good morning Serena." I asked, my voice a little husky and deep than usual.

"G-good morning Calem." Serena replied as she looked away, blushing. I chuckled as I dug my face into my ACTUAL pillow and fell asleep again.

I woke up again to the sound of glass shattering and a scream. I got up, add looked around but didn't see Serena austere so I got out of bed and slowly opened the door and got out. I quietly walked towards the living room and didn't see anything so I went to the kitchen and saw Serena lying on the floor, unconscious.

"SERENA!" I yelled as I ran towards her and checked her pulse. Luckily she was still alive so I didn't have to worry about that anymore but the question is what happened.

I looked around and saw the window shattered, along with a few cups. I looked at Serena again and saw that she had a cut on her cheek that was still bleeding. I carried her to my bedroom and lied her down on my bed. I went to get the first aid kit, and grabbed medicine and a bandaid. I went back to Serena, dabbed the medicine on her cut and put a bandaid on.

I kissed her forehead and left the room. I went to the kitchen to clean up the mess and have the window fixed when something caught my eye. I looked at the counter and saw a little paper. I slowly walked to it and picked it up to read.

Such a shame your girl screamed, I could've had a little fun with her if she didn't resist but nonetheless I will in due time. Next time, though, keep an eye on her. She knows who I am so just ask her if you want to know and by the way, watch your back cause I'm going to have her soon enough.

I crumpled the paper and threw it in the trash. I curled my fists and punched the wall out of anger. Whoever this person is, he is not going to get Serena. I'll protect her with my life if I have to.
