Serena's P.O.V.
It felt so nice to get away from people, buildings, cars honking, and just be around nature. If I could have one wish, if wish for life to be this nice and peaceful.
I glanced at Calem and saw that he was already looking at me. I immediately blushed and looked away.
What's wrong with me
I heard him chuckle a little before he grabbed my chin, gently, and made me face him.
He stared at me before muttering, "Why do you have to be beautiful?"
I don't know if I was supposed to hear that, but I felt my cheeks turn hot.
I was going to say something, but memories that have been haunting me started flashing through my mind. I started tearing up and shaking.
Calem's P.O.V.
Serena started crying and shaking and I don't know what to do. I put my hands on each side of her face and said, "Serena, Serena calm down!"
That didn't work so I brought her to my chest and hugged her, calming her down. It felt nice to have her in my arms, it's like she was a missing piece.
"Serena, calm down and listen to my voice and my voice only. Block everything out even your thoughts." I said, seeing her stop shaking along with her tears. "Listen, you're too beautiful to cry. Your shouldn't cry for anything." Serena seemed to calm down but I still held her in my arms, never letting go.
"Are you okay?" I asked gently. She slowly nodded, hugging me tightly.
"How about we get to know each other?" I asked, wanting to get a reaction from her. She looked a little hesitant before nodding.
"Okay"
