Unexpected Love

Chapter 14

Serena's P.O.V

Darkness. That's all I saw. Everywhere I turn I see nothing. I feel nothing. Nothing. And I'm scared it'll stay like that. I looked around to see if I could find anything but I couldn't.

Just as I was giving up, I heard something behind me. I quickly turned around and saw Calem. I tried to call him but my voice was gone, I couldn't say anything. It was like in my dream.

Calem looked stressed, pacing back and forth while he was running his hands through his hair. What I didn't expect was my mother coming in and talking to him. I guess he must have told her, though, I'm surprise she's calm even though I could see she's trying to not cry. They were talking but I couldn't tell they were saying.

Suddenly, I felt a sharp pain on my cheek and same on my other one. I gasped as my stomach was in pain as well. I don't know what's going on, but I just hope it ends soon.

Calem's P.O.V

"Oh my poor baby girl is in trouble." Serena's mom,Karen, cried out as she let her tears flow free.

"Don't worry, we'll find her." I reassured her while trying to think where she is. The person that has Serena said she knows him so maybe her mother knows.

"Um, Karen, did Serena have any enemies?" I asked, looking at her. Karen tensed so that answers my question but I wonder if she'll admit it.

"N-no, why do you ask?" Guess not, but why though.

"Karen, tell me, who were her enemies?" I protested, not giving up.

"Well, there was this boy. Before he was her enemy, they used to be the bestest of friends I ever saw. He would always come by our house to play with her and it made me happy. But there was this one time when he came by our house and looked mad and I didn't know why. He kept yelling at Serena then out of nowhere he slapped her," I clenched my hands,"just as he was going to hit her again, I stopped him and kicked him out. Until this day we didn't know what happened to him."

"Oh, I think I have an idea and that bastard is going to pay."
