Harper awoke to the feeling of flying. Her eyes quickly opened as she was about to stand up straight but felt two arms around her waist, holding her down.Looking to her side she realised she was sat on Ace's lap as he held a baseball in his hands. Looking around she saw Eyeball was driving and Billy and Charlie sat awkwardly in the back.
Ace gave her a cheeky smile as he offered her the bat, she shook her head gently and smirked.
"You're out next shot anyway." She mumbled.
He scoffed and smirked at her. "Hell no I'm not."
And with that he reached his arm around her and gripped the bat in both hands as Eyeball sped up and Ace took a swing.
The mailbox completely broke apart as he groaned and tried not to whack the bat against the car.
He felt Harper laugh against him. She had called it.
"Shit, I'm out, god dammit!" He snapped angrily as Harper continued to laugh.
"Shouldn't have gone for a wooden one." Harper and Eyeball's words came at the same time.
Eyeball laughed and offered her a high five, she laughed and slapped his hand in response as Ace grumbled to himself.
"Why don't you tell me something I don't know Asshole?"
Harper turned to him. "I actually-"
Ace nudged his knee, causing her to bounce slightly.
"Shut it." He snapped at her but the smirk stayed on his face.
He reached round and offered Billy the bat.
"Billy you're up."
Harper slowly zoned out as the all too familiar conversation happened of Ace practically ordering them to play before he collected his "goddamn social security".
Harper cautiously looked over at Eyeball as he happily drove along. She thought over what she knew of his character, the cobra Chambers, alcoholic dad who beat him and Chris without a care.
Her eyes drifted to Ace as Billy finally gave in and took the bat.
"Let's play ball!" Ace shouted as he bounced Harper again.
She smiled as she looked down at him. He grinned back up at her as he leant his head closer to hers.
"Don't suppose you wanna tell me he loses?" His whisper came in her ear.
Harper laughed slightly and shrugged. "It cuts out there, goes back to the kids who if I'm right are at the junkyard."
Ace gave her a confused look, his most common look around her now.
"The fuck they there for?"
She looked back at Billy and Charlie before back down to Ace.
"You'll find out."
He growled at her as his arms tightened around her waist.
"That's not fair." He mumbled into her ear as he let his lips brush over her neck.
"Surely you shouldn't keep secrets from your celebrity crush?" He whispered in her ear again.
She laughed and shook her head. "Oh hell no Kiefer you ain't doing me like that!"
Ace pulled away slightly as Harper realised what she'd said.
"Do I really look like this Kiefer to you?"
Harper paused before looking back out onto the open road before back at him.
"Technically, to me, you are Kiefer."
Ace paused slowly as he nodded.
"I didn't mean it in a bad way..." Harper added, noticing the way his expression changed.
He shook it off. "No it's normal to hear another name with her claiming it's your real name." He mumbled slightly sarcastically.
Harper sighed as she looked down at him, leaning down to his ear she whispered.
"I mean technically your real names John but you know?" She shrugged slightly as she smiled at him.
"Oh that's so fucking unfair." He said with a laugh as he bounced her again and gripped her tighter.
Billy finally struck out as Ace won.
Ace smirked up at Harper in his arms as she grinned down at him.
"You fucking knew I'd win didn't you?" He asked.
She laughed and she shook her head. "Believe it or not no-one ever knew. Though all Ace girls out there sided with you."
"Ace girls?" He asked curiously as the smirk grew on his face.
She scoffed and smacked his chest as Eyeball finally pulled up at Ace's. All the cobras jumped out and Eyeball helped Harper out as Ace followed.
"So these Ace girls?" Ace asked as he looped an arm around her shoulder, leading her around the back of his house.
Harper shook her head and laughed. "Okay there is not enough time in this movie and every future Kiefer movie to tell you about the world of fan fiction."
Ace laughed and looked down at her even more confused. "The fuck is fan fiction?"
Harper laughed and shook her head. "You're not ready to hear about that." She said as she saw the familiar pick up truck she knew Ace would be sat at.
Quickly removing herself from under his arm she took off running. Leaping up on the back of the truck she grabbed the engine part and cloth that was sat there and smiled.
The other cobras dispersed slightly as Ace came sauntering over to her, a smirk still on his face.
He climbed up with her and sat down as she handed him the part and cloth.
"You're gonna want this." She said with a smirk.
He laughed and nodded, taking them from her as she whacked on the radio behind him and sat down beside him.
He shook his head and split his legs, nodding to the space in between them.
A smile came to her face as she shuffled over and sat with her back against his chest, he brought his arms around her and began polishing the part in front of her as she looked about at the others.
"So we actually gonna do those tattoos?" Eyeball asked the others, who were just lazing around.
They all turned to Harper, who looked anoint confused before realising they were looking at her.
"Oh yeah, you're gonna wanna get them done now." She said with a smile on her face.
She felt herself slowly lean back against Ace's chest as Eyeball and Vince slowly set about getting blades and preparing to make them.
"We doing them like hers?" Billy asked, pointing at Harper.
Harper nodded as Eyeball and Vince came over and took a closer look before nodding and splitting up and preparing everything.
"So you gonna tell me why you've got our tattoo on your arm?" She heard Ace ask quietly into her ear.
