Harper had finally agreed to be on Ace's side as Eyeball nabbed Charlie for the paired game. The boys had all shaken off their concerns about Harper and Betsy as the games began and the drinks soon started flowing.

"Is everything okay?" Ace whispered in Harper's ear as his arm wrapped around her waist.

Harper snapped from her gaze locked on Betsy as she turned and looked up at him.

"Yeah course." She mumbled.

"Don't look it. You look like you're gonna go over there and smash her head against the bar." Ace mumbled in her ear. "Kinda hot."

Harper smiled slightly and gently shoved him as he smirked down at her.

"I'm telling you tonight can't get here fast enough." He half groaned in her ear as Harper felt him plant a soft kiss on the side of her head.

"Can you just stop and take your shot?!" Eyeball snapped as him and Charlie had to stand there and wait.

Harper nodded and took the cue from Ace as she shoved him off. Leaning down and taking a shot she smiled as the white ball tapped against two of theirs and sent them straight into the holes. Straightening up she smiled as Ace appeared at her side.

"That's my girl." Ace said with a smirk as they both looked at Eyeball and Charlie.

"I now see why you wanted Harps on your team." Charlie mumbled at Eyeball as Harper moved around the table to take another shot.

Of course Ace and Harper won. Ace was usually the unbeatable one and now he had Harper on his side he was completely invincible.

Naturally none of the others wanted to play against the couple yet a new game was soon set up against Vince and Jack, who knew they didn't stand a chance but knew they couldn't stand against saying 'no'. No-one said no to Ace, and even more so as they all knew Ace wouldn't go down in front of his girl.

Harper had never felt more at home. The odd cheeky kisses from Ace. Messing about with Eyeball and winding the others up. Anything she wanted she got. She told Billy to get her a drink, he got it for her. She told Jack to get her a stool, he got it for her. Looking around at all the cobras she had never felt like she fit in anywhere better.

They all happily accepted her, except when she got together with Eyeball and wound them up, smacking and poking them with the pool cues, hiding their drinks and just general taunting. None dared to fight back against Eyeball and none dared to fight back against Harper. Ace began to refer to them as some kind of deadly sibling act.

"I reckon you'd make a cracking Chambers Harps." Eyeball said as he looped an arm around her shoulders and brought her closer to him.

She grinned up at him and nodded. "I could totally rock the Chambers surname."

The pair high-fived once more as Harper reached out and took Fuzzy's drink that was balancing on the table, while he took his shot. Eyeball used his cue and poked him on the side making him miss his mark. She took a swig from it as he straightened up and faced them.

"Seriously you two?" He half snapped.

Eyeball straightened up as Ace moved so he was on the other side of her. He offered Harper his switchblade as she accepted it with a smile. Eyeball kept his arm around Harper as he pulled his own out and gently tapped his with hers.

"Matching." He mumbled with a smile at her before turning seriously back at Fuzzy.

"Problem?" He asked, attempting to be sincere.

"Sorry was this your drink?" Harper asked as she offered the bottle back to him, the smile still on her face.

Fuzzy grumbled as he moved away around the table. Harper grinned up at Eyeball as he winked back down at her.

The games continued as Harper leant into Eyeball and smiled. Harper had never felt safer as she rolled Ace's blade around in her hands, she'd never use it on anyone but it felt somewhat comforting knowing that all the others would if it was to protect her.

Harper slowly looked up as Billy went to go get them more drinks. Her eyes trailed to the bar where she saw Betsy still standing and glaring at her. What was her problem?! Surely she should just get over it. Unfortunately for Harper there had never been much information released in her time about Betsy, only that she was once Ace's girlfriend and from what Harper could gather, the only girlfriend he'd had.

"I just need the loo." Harper mumbled as she released herself from Eyeball's grip.

He nodded as she slipped Ace's blade into her back pocket and headed towards the bathroom. She walked in and ran her fingers through her hair as she walked into one of the cubicles. Yet unknown to her she had been followed into the bathroom.

Not by Ace.

Not by Eyeball.

Not by any other cobra.

Betsy held the pen tightly in her hand as she gently shut the bathroom door behind her as to not make a sound. She saw Ace's mark on the wall and quietly began to go over it.

The light above them flickered.

Harper was soon finished and walked out to see Betsy just finishing going over the autograph.

"What the fuck are you-"

Blackness.
