Harper constantly refused to give in to Eyeball's demands of wanting to know what his fan fictions were about and what girls all really thought about him.

By the time they arrived at Ace's he had his arm around her shoulder and was letting her lean comfortably into him.

Harper felt safe with him. She knew nothing would happen to her as long as he was there. And the feeling of his arm around her only confirmed that, all she needed now was Ace and she would finally feel at home.

He let them inside and she gave him a small smile before heading straight upstairs. Eyeball let her go.

In minutes Harper was back in Ace's room, she sat down slowly on his bed and leant back. Feeling the blankets under her she moved and wrapped one completely around her and shut her eyes. Letting the scent of Ace completely take over. She'd get him back.

The tension was still high in the car as Ace found out his characters fate in another book and her parents were still set on returning her home.

"Okay well did she actually say how she got to you in the first place?" Harper's dad asked after a few minutes silence.

Ace thought for a moment, she'd told him and Eyeball how she went over this Kiefer's autograph and that was how she ended up there. He looked up at her dad and nodded.

"Great, so you'll just do that and we'll get her back that way."

"She only came back because that little faggot finished the movie." Ace grumbled as he shuffled in his seat.

Her parents were confused before remembering the way Gordie technically was the end of the story.

"Couldn't she just do that again?"

Ace shrugged. "The story ended though, I don't know if it's restarted since she went back or not"

"So what you're saying is my daughter could be stuck facing your cobras again?" Harper's mum snapped at him.

Ace glared at her. "They wouldn't hurt her. They know I'd kill them."

"And if the story has restarted? And they don't remember her?" Her mum snapped again.

"Eyeball will look after her! They warmed to each other pretty quickly. They got the same annoying sense of humour." Ace grumbled.

Her mum was about to snap back but stopped when her dad spoke up.

"And let's be real, she'll happily make herself at home there." He said, trying to reassure his wife.
"All we have to do is figure out how she gets back if the story has finished and not restarted."

"And if she chooses to stay?" Ace asked him with a raised eyebrow.

"She won't. Now let's get back to the hotel, we'll figure this all out tomorrow."

Ace wasn't about to argue. After everything he was completely exhausted.

It didn't take them long to get there as they were staying in Brownsville, or as Ace knew it, Castle Rock.

He climbed out of the car after them and continued to look around in shock, this place was definitely different to what he was used to.

He was slowly getting used to the looks he was getting as he ignored people's questions and comments about how he was Kiefer's double.

Harper's parents quickly began to guide him inside as they led the way, also trying to get him out of public view. It didn't stop people taking photos and videos though.
