Harper finally managed to calm down as she slowly pulled away from Ace. The others had split leaving him to deal with her.

"You're not gonna tell me what happens are you?" He asked quietly.

She shook her head slowly. "I can't.." she whispered, looking up at him through tear stained eyes.

"It could change the whole story and then I don't know what would happen. I assume the movie has to stay the same so I can wake up from whatever I'm stuck in."

Ace nodded slowly. "What about me?"

Harper thought for a second. "Well you come back in another book briefly and it sorta finishes off your storyline."

"So I don't die at the end of this movie thing?" He asked, laughing slightly as he felt somewhat relaxed.

Harper shook her head. "No you don't, nothing like that."

Ace nodded slowly.

"You said nothing else happens till tomorrow?" He asked quietly.

She nodded slowly as the pair fell into a small silence.

"So what the fuck do I do now?" Ace asked with another laugh as he looked around.

Harper laughed slightly and shrugged. "Fuck do I know? Usually at this point it's focused on the kids for the rest of the night."

"What's so special about them?" Ace asked scoffing.

Harper shook her head. "You'll find out." She mumbled again as she slowly pulled away from his grip.

She slowly jumped down from the car as he followed.

"You know if you need a place to crash..." his words trailed off slightly as he scratched the back of his head, somewhat nervously.

Harper looked up at him and smiled. "Ace, I'm from 70 years in the future... my parents haven't even been born yet... you really think I got a place to stay in this fictional town?!" She asked sarcastically, waving her arms around.

Ace laughed and nodded. "So you don't wanna stay in the fictional love of your life's house?" He asked with a smirk.

Harper crossed her arms over her chest. "Okay I never said you were the fictional love of my life."

Ace raised an eyebrow and crossed his arms over his chest.

"Kiefer was my first celebrity crush, not Ace you know?" She tried to quickly defend herself.

Ace laughed and nodded, walking over to his back door before opening it and gesturing her inside.

"Call me whatever you want love, you know it's true either way."

Harper attempted to scowl but couldn't help the smile appearing on her face as she slowly walked over to the door he was holding open for her.

As she reached him she felt his arm wrap around her waist and gently pull her closer.

"You're still an Ace girl." He whispered as he smirked down at her.

Harper felt her cheeks go red again as she blushed, quickly pulling herself away from his grip she walked into the house and looked around.

No real description of Ace Merrill's house had ever officially been given yet as she walked around and saw the somewhat messy state she knew this was how she'd always pictured it.

"Bedrooms upstairs." He mumbled as he pointed up. "You hungry? Do you even need to eat?" He asked her.

She shrugged slightly. "Can't say I've ever been in this situation so I'm not exactly sure."
