"MARA LOU! WAKE UP!" I hear my mother say as a smile comes to my face. Today I am officially a sophomore.
"Coming mom!" I say as I stumble out of bed with the smell of bacon and eggs filling my nostrils.
"Wow mom, in a good mood today, are we?" I say surprised.
"Oh hush. First day of school and you deserve it." She says playfully.
I quickly grab a piece if toast and practically force it down my throat as I run to my room yo prepare my outfit for the day.
After 15 minutes of looking through my clothes, I choose a pair of black leggings, oversized t shirt and gray converse.
After I get dressed , I head to the bathroom and fix my shoulder length curly blonde hair into a messy bun after I straighten it. Makeup is next. Smokey eye shadow with winged eyeliner, (It makes my blue eyes pop) with red, shimmery lip gloss.
"Now, Mara Lou you're ready for this. Don't panic, you will be fine." I said to myself before meeting my brothers, Ethan and Max at the front door. They looked like they had been waiting a while...
"GOD! You look plum ignert!" Ethan says as Max giggles at his brothers remark.
SLAP! "Haha, now you're red faced!" I said after I realized I slapped him.
"Ouch tha"
"Stop being so mean to each other!" Mom interrupted.
"Fine." I say.
"Now, get in the car. We'll head to school now." Mom said while locking the door behind her.
And then, I suddenly become nervous.
