(JESSE)
This is literally the perfect time to tell Mara how I feel about her. I sit down in the drivers seat and she looks a little nervous.
"Everything alright, baby girl?" I ask and she instantly smiles.
"We just need to talk. You think you could find a spot that we could just walk through the woods and talk? It's the only way I can get things off of my chest." Her smile fades.
"Sure. It's not bad though, is it?" I ask confused.
"I don't think it is." She smiles and it makes me smile.
I pull out of the church parking lot and start looking for a perfect place to park the car on the side of the road.
Luckily, ten minutes later, I found a spot that was just beautiful scenery for this time of year. Mara instantly smiles when the car stops.
"I need to tell you the first part while we're in the car. Honestly, I've only told a few people this." Her smile kinda fades.
"Okay.."
"Think of something, anything at all."
"If you say so." I start thinking of something random. My stomach starts growling and I start thinking of what I want to eat. "Pizza rolls and French fries."
"Pizza rolls and French fries. And don't forget the ranch on the side." She says and my jaw drops.
"How the? What the? How in the hell did you guess that?!" I spat out.
"I can read minds and change the feelings of the people around me. I got a one mile radius."
"No freaking way."
"Way. Been this way since I was born." She explains.
"That's amazing!" I start thinking something that will make her smile. "Let's go some place where we can be alone?"
She blushes. "Where do you wanna go?"
"My parents and my sister isn't home. They won't be home all day. They're at my grandmas so we'll have the house to ourselves. And I want you to meet my parents. If that's okay with you."
She smiles. "That would be nice! Let's go then!"
Today should be a good one.

(MARA)I'm honestly a nervous wreck. Jesse wants me to meet his parents and I haven't even told him how I feel! The only thing I could get out before he thought of something dirty.
Apparently I've been staring at the windshield for a long time cause Jesse starts to worry.
"Mara Lou? Are you okay honey?" He asks softly while laying his right hand on my left leg.
"Yeah, sorry. I just got to thinking about stuff."
He smiles but not for long. "It's nothing about me is it?"
"No! If it was, I wouldn't be headed to your house with you." I wink.
"Damn, you've got a wink that would make any guy have an instant boner. Just saying."
"Jesse! You're terrible!" I giggle.
"Oh, you still like me though. That's all that counts." He smiles which makes me smile even more.
When we pull into his driveway, there's nobody there. Honestly thanking Jesus cause I don't know if I wanna meet his parents just yet.
"Look at me for a second." Jesse says smiling.
