And, before long, the Catastrophe of Charybdis arrives in our kingdom. We pursued it first before it reach a certain distance.
"Hey, I really wanted to play too!"
"I told you did I? it's our town's problem."
I told her while she is jiggling my body.
Milim has nothing to do with this mess. If she were, I would definitely let her fight, but not in this case.
The battle was on the Northern part of the Jura. It was located near the highway we have built through the Dwarven Kingdom. The army I have with me is Benimaru's Kurenai Force, Goblin riders, High Orcs, Dragonewts, and Souei's Shadow Squad.
With the exception of Shizu-san, who stayed in the city to intercept the church's knights, the generals remain the same. Then, Milim was beside me riding Ranga. Though, she promised that she'll only observe she began throwing tantrums when we saw the Forged Charybdis in the distance.
Dude, that thing is massive...!
I whispered in awe.
Looking at that Charybdis which is 10 times its original size, and 5 times its flying altitude yet we can see it still because of its enormous body.
No wonder Treyni-san asked us to withdraw. That's basically a flying Catastrophe.
Its speed is nothing to make fun of either.
[Confirmed, that Charybdis has 1,000 times more magic essence than the authentic ones.]
Kurgh! It's not too late to reconsider Treyni-san's proposal.
Seeing this probably would be brought forth global panic in my old world. Basically, this sight could be interpreted as the end of the world.
What now...
[Confirmed, a powerful artifact is hidden in the Charybdis' core. If we can see it, I can analyze it and dismantle it.]
So, if I would be able to get a grasp of its core then I can leave the rest to Ciel-sensei, right?
[That is correct.]
Ciel is amazing all and all but, how exactly? I don't even know where that thing core is... It may be possible if I use Azathoth but should I really? I mean, everyone is watching...
Not long we were able to now get under the shade of its gigantic body. Dude, this enemy is really disturbing.
I glance behind me whether my subordinates are at their wits but it appears I am the only one whose resolve is hazed by doubt.
Our troops created a formidable phalanx. It's all fighting now. The Kurenai force is in charge of that with Geld's high orcs, while Gobta's nimble goblin riders, Gabil's aerial force, and the Shadow squad would stick to their own battle tacts. We've also reached King Gazel, but it sounds like Dwargon is now tied at the hip. They did, however, promise to aid in the extinction of this beast as soon as possible.
Can I really wait for them?
Whatever that beast fires, it will be detrimental to my territory. Imagine Charybdis' seizures if it had 1,000 more of its original output, that's the monster we are fighting right now. Not to mention, two Charybdis are ringing around it. Even for my subordinates, one Charybdis is enough of a challenge; now we're up against three, with the Forged one containing 1,000 more magical essences than the ordinary.
The soldiers take the charge, while we (Rimuru, higher-ups of tempest, and Milim) take the observer's seat from a distance. Let's first eliminate these megalodons on the way. There are megalodons though they are formidable we have a huge advantage in numbers consisting of nearly 3,000 warriors.
