In the Western Jura Borders, the instigator of this warfare, King Edmaris of Farmus Kingdom was sitting high on the throne of the moving army. Their number is a force to be recognized as an extermination level.
"What news..! The Conqueror of Flames is residing in Tempest..?!"
One Elite soldier shouted out loud after hearing the report.
"Yes, undoubtedly, that is not all however, she who is allegedly dead is now the acting Queen of the Monster Kingdom Tempest."
"Then, the new powerful Demon Lord and and a Legendary Champion is living together, is that what you are talking about?"
King Edmaris asked in bewilderment.
"Yes, my king..."
"My my, she is someone that is looked up to by other Champions and someone which I would say, I would find myself hard dealing with."
Razen spoke behind Edmaris.
"That doesn't matter, I'll start with her and then to Hinata Sakugchi until I become the human greatest fighter"
Shogo shouted ecstatically.
"We know you kids are enthusiastic about climbing the ranks of Champions. But, don't underestimate her... albeit she isn't any longer in her prime she is still someone who formerly stands on top. Someone of her prime caliber was capable of slaying Archdemon singlehandedly which even the Western Saints Church put on some ridiculous amount of preparation."
"This is a surprising revelation."
Folgen added.
"Indeed it is, if the rumors that she is dead are falsehood there is someone high in the Western Countries who is manipulating this warfare behind the stage."
"The Western Countries are allied with us in this ridiculous operation, but they are only supporting us with manpower and supplies, and they aren't directly coercing the Monster Kingdom either."
Between Razen and Folgen's exchanges, King Edmaris asked in more confusion than ever.
"Hmmm, what are you referring to this?"
"It means, someone might have engineered all of this warfare before it all happened. Someone who is influential in Western Countries is manipulating the very nation to achieve something."
"Are you saying all of this is really happening?"
"My King, I don't know, but I am saying this is how all of the puzzles will fit together. Like the sudden declaration of Blumund, a tiny nation proposes this idea to us. They are a nation that wouldn't wage a war, I think it is really suspicious that they are the ones who propose this idea of the operation. Despite our goal being the same, I think the Blumund Kingdom have another thing in their minds."
On the surface, Farmus Kingdom's purpose was to eliminate the threat of a Demon Lord and a new force of monsters. This has been condoned with the support of Luminism a religion rich in the Farmus Kingdom. However, Blumund has not tied with Luminism, therefore, their goals were rather oblique and vague and they were the first ones to propose this operation, and Farmus just backed it up in the council.
"Then let's use their own plan to achieve ours."
"Wait wait wait... Blumund proposes this operation. I thought we were the ones who instigated it?"
"Regardless of what the Western Countries decided, we were gonna attack Tempest to eliminate the threat of a Demon lord. But, surprisingly, this instigation was prepared first by the aristocracies of the Blumund Kingdom."
