After our journey from Dwargon, our Dwarf artisans were quickly introduced to the village.
They immediately got to work, teaching us how to craft weapons, make clothing, and create proper blueprints for roads and establishments.
Kaijin took charge of weaponry, while Garm was appointed as the head of clothing production—finally providing the Goblinas with proper attire.
Garm's unparalleled skills in tailoring were a welcome addition.
Then there's Dord, a craftsman specialized in intricate designs.
In games, the appearance of weaponry might determine its power, but in reality, it's the grade of the sword and the skill and compatibility of the user that matter.
Still, a well-designed weapon does boost morale, and with Dord's craftsmanship, we might finally get a taste of wealth.
On the other hand, Myrd, considered a prodigy, quickly formulated the best blueprint to upgrade our village into a small town.
Despite his short time here, his vision was impressive and precise.
Finally, there's Vesta. Not long ago, we were at each other's throats, but now he's a completely changed man.
We've set him up in a cave just on the outskirts of the village. However, we can't begin any massive experiments yet since we still lack an agriculture department.
For now, Vesta's research focuses on the local plant and monster species in the Forest.
It's still valuable, as he'll be discovering new things in this uncharted territory, unlike Dwargon, which has been thoroughly researched for thousands of years.
That being said, there's something only I can do to speed things up.
I gave Vesta a tome filled with my knowledge rather knowledge I gained with him—research on the properties of magicules, their ability to create life, mutate lifeforms, and their applications in various spells.
For instance, we've used light magic to broadcast live events, as well as a magicule-cleansing barrier to prevent monsters from roaming in specific areas.
These are something that has become an everyday luxury in Tempest but is still groundbreaking discovery in the wider world especially here in the past.
Vesta was amazed, seeing these innovations that, while appearing simple at first, turned out to be incredibly useful.
Vesta also became fascinated and deeply invested in studying the product that defeated him—the Full Potion of Tempest.
I wonder what Veldora is up to right now...
I received a report from the crew I assigned to gather materials in Veldora's cave. Apparently, the cave is shaking, and they've discovered a significant amount of pure magic ore just by the entrance.
"Hey, Ciel, you built Veldora's house, right? Any insights?"
[Actually, Master, it's a bit embarrassing... but Veldora is just reading, as usual. However, he's enraged by what he's reading.]
That's... actually embarrassing. Was that the cause of the quake and the surge in magic ore?
I guess so...
After that, every day has been a tough task.
I'm constantly naming new monsters who seek my protection, then handing them over to Rigurd to assign them positions within the village.
One time, I joined the hunting team just to observe.
Gobta and the Goblin Riders were thrilled to finally wield real blades—sharp enough for cutting and even decapitating monsters.
