Chapter 15 The date

It was 4 am and Monty was currently rushing to the daycare, getting there he imidiatly saw Sun and Sage, who were just doing arts and crafts.

Sun: Hello friend!!-they said smiling, Sage looking over at him.

Sage: Oh hi Monty! Kinda late for you to come by isn't it?

Monty: I have to tell you something.

Sage: Speak then...

Monty: I got a date with Bon!

Sage: Nice man...

Monty: Problem, I kinda don't know what to do. What kind of date should it be?! What is appropriate in this context?! I've never been in a relationship this is all so new! Should we like, eat something fancy or something?!- the human chuckled, before speaking.

Sage: Hold your horses big guy, that's kinda overkill for a first date, specially knowing your background, I'd say, maybe see a movie? Get all romantic and cuddle up?

Monty: Sage you fucking genius!!! Thank you so much!

They were middle of day shift, Bonnie and Monty were having a last minute maintenance check, so the taller thought that this would be the best time to ask out the other.

Monty: Hey Bon?- they asked getting Bonnie's attention- I was wondering if, you'd like to see a movie with me tonight? Just the two of us, no one else.

Bonnie: I would love that.- they said with a smile before going back to work.

It was the last birthday party of the day, so right after they were done with it, Bonnie went to meet his friends, for advice. He found them on the kitchen, which also meant that Chica was violating direct orders from Vanessa.

Bonnie: Hi there!- he said waiving, the other two smiling and waiving back.

Chica: What's up Bonnie?

Bonnie: I'm kinda gay panicking right now.

Chica: Why?

Bonnie: So I'm having a date with Monty an- he couldn't even finish what he was saying, has the guitarist interrupted.

Chica: Oh my God!! You two are going on a date?!? Finally!!

Roxy: Chica let him finish the sentence.

Chica: Oh yeah, right, sorry.

Bonnie: It's fine.

Roxy: So what are you panicking about?

Bonnie: I want this date to go well and uhm, this is silly but, what should I wear?! It's just going to see a movie and I don't wanna be too much.

Roxy: Well you could just go with your bowling clothes, those are pretty casual and cute.- the rabbit hugged the keytarist.

Bonnie: Thanks Roxy you're the best.- he said pulling away from the hug, her smirking.

Roxy: I know I'm the best, but thanks for reminding me.- the bassist then went to guitarist and hugged her has well.

Bonnie: Thanks Chica!- he said pulling away before beginning to walk out of the kitchen.

Chica: It's nothing! Do tell us how the date goes!!

Bonnie stood around in his room, pacing around excitedly, he couldn't stay still for the life him, he waited and waited for his date, until he heard a knock on the door, rushing over to it and opening it.

Bonnie: Hi Monty!- he said with a smile, the other's smiling back.

Monty: Hey bon! Ready to go to the theater?- the other nodded, them beginning to walk there- You looks great, by the way.- he said akwardly, his face flushed, the other's face becoming slightly red has well.

Bonnie: Thanks... You look great to.

Monty: Soo, you're in a mood for a horror or a romantic movie?- they asked has they finally got to the theater by the daycare, Bonnie making his way to the seats, meanwhile Monty got to projector.

Bonnie: Horror! You know I love my horror movie's and how I like them!- the other chuckled hearing his response.

Monty: So I did the right thing by choosing a very gory one?

Bonnie: Yup! Give me the most groomsmen movie you got.

Monty: Okay man, just, you sure you can handle it? I know you love them but you get a bit traumatized right after one.- they said finishing up with the projector, going over a popcorn machine and feeling up a bucket.

Bonnie: Please! When you get scared it means it's good!

Monty: Can't argue with that logic.- the taller said seating besides the rabbit, handing him the bucket of popcorn and putting the drink with two straws in the cup holder bettwen them has the movie started to play.

They both anxiously ate the popcorn has they saw the movie, it was a particularly scary japanese movie that had came out recently. None of them were sure of what exactly was going on, not understanding if this was an artist representation of hell, or just a movie about a haunted doll in a weird house, what they were certain about is that it looked absolutely terrifying. The constant jump scares weren't helping it either, it seamed that at every door and every turn something bad was about to happen, even so what got the rabbit to jump on his seat was a particularly scary jump scare that happened in an other wise quiet and normal scene. When the jump scare happened he spilled a bunch of popcorn his hand imidiatly meeting the other's, squeezing it tightly as he muttered.

Bonnie: Jesus fuck!- even after he calmed down, his hand stayed on Monty's hand, their mind going off about it.

Alright Monty, you've fucked the dude, why are you so flustered about holding his hand?!...God he looks so pretty tonight tho. I can't look away from hi- oh shit he looked at me, he probably thinks I've been been staring at him all this time!! I mean, I kinda have, but feels weird having him know this. OH GOD we've been looking at each other in the eyes for awfully a long time! Quick look at the movie, pretend you weren't doing anything.

They thought finally looking over at the screen, seeing a particularly gory scene, then another jump scare, Monty jumping, tightly griping the other's hand and letting out a scream, Bonnie chuckling at his reaction.

Monty: Oh really laughing at me?

Bonnie: I'm sorry, I'm sorry!- he replied bettwen laughs, whipping off a tear that had made it's way out- That scream was so funny!! I didn't know a big guy like you would scream like a lady.

Monty: That kinda gave me gender euphoria so I'm taking that has a compliment.- they said getting his attention back to the movie, not a word more being said until the end. They now both walked out of the theater- I still don't get the plot of the movie.- hearing this the other chuckled.

Bonnie: To be honest, neither do I.- the other chuckled has well- But it had fun, a lot fun.- the smaller said, holding the other's hand, the gator's face becoming dusted in red.

Monty: So did I...- they added has they got the door of the other's room, Bonnie letting go of the other's hand, standing infront of them.

Bonnie: We should go on another date.- he said, with a sweet smile, the other's face dusting in red.

Monty: Yeah... We should.

C'mon man, make the move! Kiss him godam-

The taller's thoughts were quickly interrupted when the smaller got closer their lips meeting for a short and sweet kiss, before he pulled away.

Bonnie: Night Monty.- the older said smiling going back to his room.

Monty: Night...- they replied has the door closed, his face blushing and his sunglasses slightly tilted.

OH MY GOD!! IT HAPPENED! YES!! This kiss was so much better then any kiss we shared before!! Oh god! Here I go again!! I'm overheating over this silly little kiss!! Fuck if I have system error, at least it happened because I'm this happy!! I can't believe this!! I actually got a chance with Bon?!
