Chapter 20 Cuddling up

Finally, it was Monday,  Monty woke up rather late, his boyfriend, who was seeing tv, was already awake, the taller kissed him on the head, the rabbit finally noticing the other was also awake.

Bonnie: Morning rockstar.- he said getting off the other, seating down besides him.

Monty: Morning love.- they replied before also seating down, feeling all kinds of sore, groaning before speaking- God I'm so dead... At least you're better, so it was for something.

Bonnie: You wouldn't be so sore if you respected your own limit's.- he said harshly.

Monty: Sorry.

Bonnie: You shouldn't be saying sorry to me, Monty you need to hear your body.

Monty: It's hard to do that... It made think that it was ok for those guards to do what they did to me.- he sighed- I didn't even think I was pushing it that far...How would I even know when it's to much?- the smaller rubbed his back, before speaking once more.

Bonnie: Well when you're in pain it's a pretty good sign you should stop.

Monty: God I'm so stupid.- the older cupped his face, forcing eye contact.

Bonnie: You aren't, your system is just all fuzzy thanks to trauma. But you can work through it... You have been working through it.- they said, kissing the other's forehead.

Monty: Thanks Bon, you always make me feel better.- he added, kissing the other on the lips- So you got anything planned for today?

Bonnie: I was thinking we could bake some edibles and then eat said edibles by Monty golf... Love getting high there.

Monty:Edibles? Don't you usually just smoke it?

Bonnie: Well yeah, but Vanessa has been complaining that the smell sticks to me for way to long and the guests don't like it, so yeah, edibles today.

Monty: That sounds good to me, just, let's not make it with your usual amount, I'm not sure I can take that.- they said getting up from the couch, Bonnie doing so has well.

Bonnie: Let's go to the kitchen then?- the other nodded them moving to the said place, finding Chica eating some pizza.

Chica: Hi, how are you?

Bonnie: We're fine... Trying to not get caught by Vanessa but yeah, fine.

Chica: Oh she also doesn't let you into the kitchen?

Bonnie: No, she lets us hang, she just wouldn't let me make some "special brownies".- he said doing fake air quotes.

Chica: Well shit save me a slice.

Bonnie: Only if you help us, I doubt gator boy has any baking experience.

Monty: You're right about that.- he added has the other two began to bake, Chica, of course, taking the chance to gossip.

Chica: So, you ended up being able to endure it Monty?- the other slightly chuckled before speaking.

Monty: Yeah, it was difficult but it worth it.

Bonnie: What did you endure?

Chica: You being in heat.- the rabbit's face became bright red, him tensing up when he heard this.

Bonnie: You told her?!- he asked surprised, the other quickly regretting it.

Monty: Yeah, sorry, I saw her while I was going over to your place I hope you didn't mind.

Bonnie: With her, I don't, I just don't want anyone else to know about the whole Freddy thing.

Chica: What Freddy thing?

Bonnie: Well shit, that was dumb.- he muttered to himself- Do we really got to answer this?

Chica: Now that you mentioned it yeah.- the rabbit signed, his partner putting a hand on his shoulder.

Monty: Want me to say it?

Bonnie: It was your idea, so yeah, please say it.

Chica: What did happen?

Monty: Well, the only way I was able to endure that was to... Ask for help.

Chica: Oh like I said?- she asked excitedly, them looking away.

Monty: Not really.... We had a three way.... With Freddy.- the guitarist slowly blinked has her system processed the information.

Chica: Wow, you took it in a way different way. But hey, it helped, that's what it matters!!

Monty: Yeah, you're right.

Bonnie: Just one thing... Why do you say endure it while your talking about my heat? Is it that bad for you?- he asked genuinely confused and worried.

Chica: Alright, I can't speak for your specific situation, but when I use it to speak about Roxy, it's cuz it's kinda hard for us to keep up. Like when y'all are in heat we really want to help you but there's only so much we can do before we need a break.But sometimes taking the break doesn't feel like the right thing so we kinda push through.- the older bassist's eyes met his lover's, in his face a worried expression.

Bonnie: Is this why you kept hurting yourself? Cuz you think it's nothing and can just push through it?- the other nodded, the older hugging him- You dumbass.

They all continued to chat has the brownies finished baking, once they were done baking Bonnie split the batch bettwen him and Chica before Vanessa came in and kicked them all out of the kitchen. After that, Bonnie and Monty made their way to Monty golf, seating by a grass spot, eating what they had made. They laid down on the grass, talking about everything and nothing.

Bonnie: I like this... I like us...- he said looking at the other noticing his panicky look- You're good rockstar?- the taller looked at him.

Monty: I'm freaking out.- they managed the older holding his his hand petting it with his thumb.

Bonnie: Alright, what's making you feel like that?- since the smaller it wasn't so high, he felt comfortable enough to help the other.

Monty: I keep hearing this sounds and I feel like something's after me.

Bonnie: Let's go to somewhere more quiet and with less light so you can take off those sunglasses and relax, alright?- the other nodded has the rabbit got up, before he extended his hand helping the other up, they embraced each other has they got to the smaller's room, him letting the other on the bed before turning off the lights. He turned on the tv and put a calm children's cartoon, before grabbing a cozy blanket and going over the other, snuggling up to them and covering both of them with the blanket- Better?

Monty: A bit... Thanks bon.

Bonnie: It's nothing... I've also had bad trips.- he added, before giving the other a kiss on the cheek.

They ended up falling asleep like that, cuddling has they saw tv.

I love how this chapter turned out, it's so simple but it's just so comforting.
