(Also PS. There isn't really a gender neutral term for Lord and Lady, and since in Pokémon Conquest, you are referred to as Lord (name) or Lady (name). You have the option to pick one of those or go with the closest thing to GN I could find: Noble (name))

You were the new Warlord of Aurora. You stared nervously up at the large castle-like walls that surrounded you, your Eevee resting upon your shoulder.
You replayed the story you were told for years in your head. The Ransei region is a land home to seventeen kingdoms, and the Pokémon and Warriors that live there. The seventeen kingdoms are ruled by Warlords, who command a fleet of warriors in battle. All of them are linked to Pokémon through a special bond. Legend has it that those that conquer all seventeen kingdoms get to meet the Pokémon that created the Ransei region.
Taking a deep breath, you held it for a moment before letting it go, walking around the kingdom in search of what to do. Glancing around, you spotted a girl with mahogany-colored hair, a Jigglypuff held in her arms. She spotted you as well, beginning to walk up to you before someone else pushed her aside.
"So, this is Aurora's new Warlord...?" The shorter Warrior spoke, his red eyes holding you with a level of doubt. He had reddish-brown hair, barely visible under a large mane of white and red fur.
His two friends came up to join him, one holding his chin high with slicked back black hair, and the other had white, spikier hair and a confident look about him.
"Hmm... Hey! Is that an Eevee?!" The black-haired Warrior exclaimed, pointing to the little brown Pokémon on your shoulder.
"That's a Pokémon you don't usually see around here..." The third Warrior remarked.
You were about to introduce yourself when the roars of battle could be heard, causing your attention to be drawn to a nearby battlefield.
Challengers?! This early on?!
Shaking your head, you ran off to confront the two Warriors.
"Hey, you! You're (Y/n), right? Aurora's new Warlord?" The first one spoke, the other one stepping up beside him.
"We're from Ignis. And we've come to challenge you to a battle!"
You gave them a nod, letting Eevee jump off your shoulder and onto the battlefield.
"Heh! There's only one of you! This is gonna be easy!"
"Aurora's as good as ours!"
Their Pokémon, Tepig and Bidoof, began to charge forward, closing in on your Eevee.
Eevee dodged their attacks well enough, and you had it use the fallen logs as weapons, knocking the Pokémon off balance. But alas, the two enemies recovered, quick to corner your Eevee.
Two on one was already dicey, but to be cornered like this...?
"Jigglypuff! Double Slap!"
You turned to see a Jigglypuff rush in, driving the Tepig back with its attack. Glancing back, you saw the mahogany-haired girl, looking determined despite looking so nervous before.
"I'll fight with you!"
You grinned and nodded, turning back to the battle.
The enemies scowled, before one shook his head. "Well, the more the merrier... Join forces if you like—it won't make a difference!"
The girl turned back to you.
"Is this your first battle, Lord/Lady/Noble (Y/n)? Please, let me help you!"
You nodded, and together you both made quick work of the two Ignis warriors, defeating them with ease now that you two worked together.
"Y-You're strong... Much stronger than they said you'd be..." the two Ignis Warriors stared at you in shock, paling as the supposed horror of your strength dawned on them.
"What are we going to do now?! Lord Hideyoshi is going to be mad..."
"Never mind that! Let's just get out of here!"
As you watched the two Warriors flee, you noticed the girl staring in awe at you.
"Your link with Eevee, Lord/Lady/Noble (Y/n)... it's already so strong..." a soft smile then graced her features, "You're practically a natural!"
Her Jigglypuff poked her leg, chirped up at her before she gasped. "Oh, I'm sorry! I agent introduced myself yet! My name is Oichi."
You both did a small bow of greeting to each other. "It's nice to meet you, Oichi. I'd give you my name, but it seems like you already know it."
You shared a small laugh with her, your Eevee jumping up onto your shoulder as Oichi crouched down to pick up her Jigglypuff.
"I've actually been on a journey with Jigglypuff here, a-and if you don't mind... I'd like to join your army, Lord/Lady/Noble (Y/n)! Would you be willing to have me?"
You blinked down in surprise to Oichi, smiling warmly at her. "How could I say no? You helped me out in that battle with Ignis."
"Th-Thank you!" She cheered, her Jigglypuff cheered along with her. "As a Warrior, I will give my all in your service."
As you stared down at this cute girl, you couldn't help but feel your chest grow warm at the way she beamed, how her happiness practically glowed around her.
Yep, no matter what happens, you were going to stay with Oichi.
